Persoanlity:Starlight is always finding the good in people, and never really gives up hope in much of anything. She can be extremely shy if she does not know you to well. Star does not share her father's distate for half breeds, as she feels everyone should be treated equilly and is even best friends with Balto's daughter Catherine.

History:Star was born with her older brother Nigel, to Steele and Tamika. Where Nigel stayed with his mother, Star was taken with her father and adopted out to a family with a little girl. Star loved her family and when she was about 8 months old, a fire happened and Star being scared ran and hid under a metal bedframe. The house came down around her and her family died inside the fire.

The firefighter who found their bodies, also found her, a charred and burnt mess. He could not believe she had survived the fire, and knew she had the will to live. The firefighters name was Jason and he took Star to the vet and the vet himself was not sure that Star would survive, she was badley burnt and didnt seem to want to live, but Jason never gave up on her. 

Through alot of tender loving care, Star grew up with a young Akita hybrid named Ophelia, who was also living with Jason. Star and Ophelia became extremely close and through Ophelia and Jason, she found what love was all about. And during one of her outings, she ran into another black colored malamute that looked alot like her, found out his name was Nigel and that he was her older brother. 

While watching the races, she met two of Balto's sons, Julius and Romeo. The two of them started giving her alot of attention and she enjoyed it. Sometimes it was annoying to her, and then othertimes it was not that bad.
