Brief Background:

 

When Vilkas turned a year old, he was driven from his pack, Framed for the Death of his Father who was murdered by the packs Alphas, Ben and Silver. Vilkas lived in the outskirts of the pack's territory and took it upon himself to steal from the pack and murder Ben while he was hunting alone in the woods. Bens death was discovered quickly, and the whole pack began a search to find a kill him. He fled from the woods and entered Nome,Alaska. He found the town quite exciting and began to make mischief there. He stole from the butchers meat locker almost everyday and caused quite a ruckus when he tried to eat Boris. He met Balto, A wolf hybrid,like himself. They became fast friends,and Balto finally had a friend who didn't care what he was. Vilkas made himself at home on Balto's boat, and refused to leave when Boris had asked him to. Vilkas attacked him and stalked out of Nome, where he remained in an abandoned bear den until he encountered a pack of hybrids who welcomed him to join them.
