Meaning/ Origin- "Prevailing" or "to conquer". Is of Latin origin.

Nicknames- None. Is sometimes called Vince or Vinny by his owners though.

Breed- 100% Siberian Husky

Sex- Male

Age- Adult to Senior. (Is roughly a year/half a year older then Bailei)

Fur Color/ Type- Sable coloration. Fur is slightly longer then other huskies.

Eye Color- Light brown

Job- Was briefly used as a sleddog.

Mate- Bailei

Crush- Bailei 

Crushers- None. 

Friends- Bailei, Benny, Victor. Isn't really one to make friends because he's kind of standoffish. 

Enemies- Doesn't really have any "enemies".

Those he refuses to like- Some of his grand-pups, Balto, Steele.

Body-

Weight- Healthy, so average?

Height- A little above average.

Drawn- Well, gee, he's a husky.

Rendered- A less wolf-like, but fluffier, Balto with a curly tail. Or Kodi, again fluffier with a curly tail. Never Steele though.

Personality- He's a grouch. Not the crotchety old man stereotype, he just is a grouch. He's sarcastic, cunning, and if he doesn't like something or someone he will do his best to just forget that it/they even exist. He has a temper, but it isn't uncontrollable. He is prone to yelling and regretting what he says. Stubborn as an ox. He does, however have a heart, and it is a heart of gold at that. He definitely has a soft side.

Likes- Bailei, laying near the fireplace, not wearing a collar, his pups, only a few of his grand-pups.

Loves - Benny, Bailei. 

Dislikes- His daughter's choices in mates, most of his grand-pups, idiots. bragging.

Bio-

Vincent arrived in Nome, Alaska in 1922. He was disoriented at first, why his owners had chosen to bring him to the snowy, seemingly desolate wasteland of a town was beyond him entirely. Not that it mattered, really, all he had known was ice and snow. And of course, being an able bodied husky would enlist him into one of the many sled teams in Nome. Or at least, that is what his owners figured as they thrust their two-and-a-half year old dog at mushers, hoping one of them would latch on. Eventually one did.

Vincent wasn't the best sled-dog ever- he was stubborn and would often not follow commands. He just didn't like the sport so he would do his best to try and get out off the harness- permanently. It all ended not by his actions, but when the team was taking a particularily icy trail and Vincent ended up hitting a tree. Of course he was hurt and the musher was almost thankful the troublesome husky would be off his team.

As soon as Vincent's injury was basically healed, he hit the streets of Nome. He was tired of just sitting around and doing nothing and felt like meeting new dogs, or people, whichever he found first. Vincent found a younger, red husky female named Bailei. He struck up convorsation with the girl and was immeadiately struck at how fast she tried to get away from him. She took off running in the opposite direction. Of course, being the stubborn little bugger that Vincent is, he didn't leave he alone. No, he would have his conversation with her whether she liked it or not. So, forgetting his injury was still tender, he took off running and ended up sprawled out on the cold ground from the pain.

Bailei took pity on the seemingly deranged male and helped him up. Vincent did get his convorsation, and a friend from the little experience. However, about five months later, he was shocked to hear that he was going to be a father by the said friend. Vincent, in his opinion, was never meant to have puppies. He always figured he'd just screw up on the puppies. Instead of voicing his fears he stood by Bailei like a rock and was there for her 24/7. When the puppies were born Vincent didn't really have a "rush of fatherly love, pride and joy". Sure, he cared about them but he didn't put them on a pedestal.

Like all puppies, they grew up and began trying to have families of his own. He instantly detested his daughter's, Jenna, choice in mates and number of puppies. Why she couldn't just be happy with having one or two litters was beyond him and after she'd had a grand total of five he forbid her to have more. He'd disown her, cut her off from the family if possible. And it worked.

Other-

- Vincent's right shoulder is what he injured. (Torn muscle/ built up scar tissue.) It normally lies dormant but if he runs for long distances/ spontaneously starts running it'll cramp up.

- Vincent is from Fairbanks, Alaska. His owners moved there to be closer to their family.

- Vincent typically likes the grandpups that either look like himself, or he sees himself in.

- He loathes Balto and Steele.

- Benny is by far his favorite grandchild, and is basically the center of his life. Vincent will never admit to that though.
