It's not a new default theme (although it could be if people want it to be, and if Steet approved of it), but it's a new theme for you to use and enjoy! I was orginally going to create a Christmas theme for Balto Source, but I ended up going with a Balto II theme instead. :P

The owner of the site, Steet, enables the snowflakes during the holiday season. He'll probably disable them after the New Year's.

Is that the reason why I see snowflakes drifting all about the place?

To be honest, and I mean no offense to the user who made the current theme, I think what's currently in place doesn't reflect the Balto films that well. The design has been used on some of the other Sources, which makes it feel more like a copy and paste job.
I'm not trying to push my theme as the default theme, but if the majority of you would like to see it as such (I would have to make some adjustments to include some of the other characters) I can see about making that happen.

Great job, Mighty and thanks for all your efforts. Keep at it, but do take it easy.

I can always darken the background if more people feel that it's too bright and distracting.

the big contrast in background is a bit distracting, but nice job after all. Very original take on BS layout
