Creation, the pack, voice actors

Question :

Hello sir, I have an interesting relationship with wolf quest and you could say I'm a fan, ever since I first saw it premire on Cartoon Network it's always tugged my heart strings and taught me the importance of family. I have questions that I hope you'll be able to answer.

first question is: what made you want to make a sequel to the first movie? Did you feel like you had a story to tell even if you weren't given the best animators? Because I have a knack for seeing potential in things even if they haven't reached it due to reasons be it budget, time, etc.

Second question: was there any plan on more scenes with the wolf pack? Because it feels like they could have had at least another 20 or 30 minutes to them, I found some of the background wolves quite more interesting than the 3 comedic ones that worked under niju. What brought up the latters creation anyway?

Third, the voice actors. Were they all together in a recording room or one at a time? What made you pick maurice, Lacey, David and mark? This one I'm most curious of as I love these four and wonder if they had a good time together or not.

Thank you for your time and hope you're able to answer my questions =)

I think I can answer one of these [the last one - the first half], and I'm sure that Mr. Weinstein would agree [as this is how I know it's done in the US].

With the voice acting and recording of lines, they're done mostly without a group session. Each performer just records their lines [many, many MANY times, I'm sure] and that's usually it. They might have gotten together for a line-read maybe, but it's unlikely nowadays. I know in Japan, voice work is usually done in a group session for anime [and maybe dubbing work, like for stuff originally in English? I'm not sure about that one...], and honestly, I wish it were done like that here in the US if only for the chance to have the actors/actresses work off of each other better, thus delivering a stronger performance [but that's my opinion...].

I hope that helps a little bit, Phal! Also, I really like this set of questions! I hope Mr. Weinstein gets a chance to answer them!
