About Balto and Jenna - their age was never specified in the first movie, so I don't think they just made up their ages in the sequels, because it wasn't necessary. However, real Balto was born in 1919 so in 1925 (the time first movie takes place) he would be 6. I guess movie Balto is younger, but who knows.

I would agree with TitanicFanatic - the oldest age that the pups should be by the time of WoC is 3 years old [in human years]. The youngest, however, can be 2 [human] years old.

We aren't told exactly when Jenna and Balto mated to produce the eventual WQ6 [Wolf Quest 6], but by what we see in the settings with the pups, there's no snow and it's warm and sunny. Clearly they were born late spring-early summer, probably being adopted sometime in June. This works best as a year passes [1927 at the latest, 1926 at the earliest; I'm going with the latter, given how close and how ready for breeding the couple were by the end of Movie 1] and the winter season is coming early [according to Balto] once he tries to get Aleu back to Nome. Depending on what area of the Alaskan wilderness they're in, this could actually be true. Certain subarctic climates in Alaska [mainly in the South and the West, which are good predictions of where Aleu headed] do get colder winds in the winter months, so maybe they hit in the autumn early? Who knows. Either way, best theory is that Kodi, Aleu and the other WQ6 are either 2 or 3 years old by the start of WoC, since it's spring. If we knew what month they were born in and what month WoC took place in, we'd know a clearer answer of age for the pups.

However, Balto and Jenna's ages are never officially specified in any of the movies. Obviously they are of breeding age, so they're over a couple of years old. Best estimate would be at least 5 or 6 by WoC [1928], making them 2 or 3 in the original movie. I always saw Balto as being the elder of the two though, so he may be a year or two older than Jenna. This is just my opinion, but since it's not official, I can't give a clear answer for those two.

Jenna and Balto became mates in February 1925 after the epidemic. In the start of WQ (when Jenna gives birth), most of the snow has melted, so it's safe to say the pups were born in Spring-Summer 1925.
When Aleu runs away, Boris says "at more than year old", meaning Aleu (and therefore the other pups) have recently turned one during the main events of WQ.
In WoC, in the cutscene just before the team arrive and talk about what made them late, you see the subtitle "Spring 1928" (and later on, you hear Balto say "guess we can agree that Spring is officially here"), making this just over 3 years since Balto and Jenna became mates, also meaning it is approximately 3 years since Jenna gave birth.
There are 10 dog years in every human year (commonly believed to be 7, it's not). But because dogs reach adulthood after 2 years, they have 10 dog years in their first two years of life, then 4 dog years per human year after that.
Answer = In Wolf Quest the pups were around 1 (10 dogs years), in Wings Of Change they were around 3 (25).
