Overview
Balto is an animated film, released in 1995 and produced by the Universal / Amblimation studios. 
The film follows such films as An American Tail or Land Before Time from the same studio, which share common points with the Disney animated films, and were released during the golden age of traditional western animation.
The story of Balto deals with wolves and dog sledding, and is based on true facts that happened in 1925 in Nome, Alaska, where diphteria, a fatal disease, occured.
Two low-budget sequels to Balto have been released to date, being direct-to-video sequels unlike the original.

Released in 1995 in the USA, and mid-1996 in Europe, the movie didn't attract the crowd and didn't encounter the deserved success. That's the reason it is not much known compared to Disney or even Dreamworks movies, and yet...

put the medicine in a box then they put the box in a train.The train got stuck in the snow.So sled dog teams had to go get the medicine!still lots of miles away from nome.More then one team went.Not at the same time though.Once they got to the goal the team that was waiting there went next.so it went on and on and on.Until a team that ran the most miles is Lanhoard Seppla`s team.Last was Gunnar`s team.Two dogs in gunnars team died!Balto could not even see because the most horible blizzard was going on.But he still knew where to go he had went through that trail before.They got there at 5:30 A.M.!The sun was rising.Once people found out they had came back they started petting Gunnars dogs.But they forgott Togo the lead dog on sepplas team he had got them to the goal!
