Mia and Leah were snuggled next to their mom and the other pups. The pups names were Sasha, Talek, Kalon, Mia and Leah. The pups were born just a couple hours ago. Talek and Kalon are the two boys in the family and Mia, Sasha and Leah are the girls. Their eyes were still closed. Mia and Leah are twins. They looked exactly alike.
The pups grew older and their eyes opened.
Mia bit Talek's tail. Talek yelped in pain and momma scolded Mia. Leah was playfully fighting with Sasha. Sasha was playing along with her, but Leah pounced on Sasha hard, making her cry. Momma scolded Leah too. Those two got into trouble a lot. Mostly because they would hurt each other. Mia and Leah loved fighting. It was as if violence was their middle name, like daredevil.
The girls got so bad, that they actually bit their mom and dad. When momma showed all the pups off, Mia and Leah went and made all the other wolves and dogs bleed by biting them. They were out of control. So, their mom and dad abandoned Mia and Leah in the middle of nowhere and kept the other pups.
Mia and Leah weren't sure what was going on. They looked around. They saw a very tall dangerous mountain. They saw other grown up wolves and dogs with scars, cuts, bruises, broken bones and slashed skin just from climbing the mountain. The two said what the hay and climbed the mountain. They saw a dog climbing. The two snickered and pushed him off. They heard rumbling. An avalanche! The two girls kept going, even if there was a boulder heading right for them, they would keep going. The avalanche knocked them off their paws a little, but they just didn't give up! The girls eventually made it to the top.
Someone else had gotten to the top also. Mia growled at the wolf. The wolf stepped back and fell off the ledge. The girls watched the wolf fall. They thought it looked like fun, so, they jumped off the mountain. They laughed the whole time they went down. When the girls hit the ground, they got out of the snow pile they landed in. There was an indent of themselves in the snow.
Mia and Leah dared each other to walk on the dangerously thin ice of the ocean. The water was deep, so if they fell through, they wouldn't be able to touch the ground with their paws. Leah went first. Mia went one second after her. They could hear the ice cracking, but that didn't stop them.
Suddenly, the ice broke and the two fell through. They couldn't hold their breath very long or swim very good either. They didn't panic at all. It was like they didn't care. Leah grabbed Mia's paw and pulled her back on the ice. Mia grabbed Leah and pulled her back on the surface. They were shivering. The ice started cracking again. The two sprinted as fast as they could as the ice broke behind them.
They warmed by the fire. An adult wolf came and asked what they had gotten into that day. The two girls told him about the ice mishap adventure and the wolf took them to the hospital to make sure they were all right. Their lips were still an interesting shade of purple. The doctor set them by the warm fireplace to warm them up. The doctor said they were fine and that they just need to warm up.
The doctor and the wolf left the room.
Leah grabbed two brass curtain rods nearby and handed one to Mia. Since there were pointy prongs on the end of the rod, they shoved a block of flaming wood in the prongs. They balanced the rods on their noses. The flaming wood was balancing on the prongs of the rod.
The doctor came into the room.
"What on Earth?!" he said, watching the twin troublemakers.
He grabbed the rods from the pups and carefully set the wood logs down. He put the brass rods in the storage room.
He set the pups by the open window. They were on the sixth floor, so, the view was pretty good.
The girls climbed to the windowsill.
The doctor left the room again. "I've got my eye on you two", he said, halfway through the door.
The two climbed out the window and stood on a thin ledge. They started to scale the side of the building.
The doctor walked in with a bucket of water to put out the fire.
"Where did you two go?!" he said, sounding panic-sticken.
The girls snickered and kept scaling the building.
A crowd of wolves and dogs had gathered around the hospital, amazed at the sight of Mia and Leah. Some shouted and some just watched.
The girls had zoned out the other noises coming from the crowd
The doctor heard the crowd's cheers, screams and shouts. He immediately ran to the elevator, pushed the main floor button and waited anxiously to reach main so he could see what was the matter.
When he got to the main floor, he rushed out the door and pushed through the crowd. He saw Leah and Mia.
He rushed back to the elevator. He pushed the button and waited until it was at sixth floor. He came out and entered the room.
He climbed through the window, stepped on the ledge and scaled the building to catch those hooligans.
He had just remembered he was afraid of heights, but he was too angry to look down and stall himself from stopping those two. He grabbed them. The crowds cheered and shouted even more. The doctor glared at them with annoyance. He carried the pups back to the window and pushed them through. The girls were mad at the doctor for ruining their fun. They closed the window and locked it. The doctor shouted at the top of his lungs for them to unlock the window and open it, but the pups left the room. They walked to the elevator.
Suddenly, the elevator stopped. Mia barked loudly while Leah banged on the doors with her little paws.
They soon gave up and sat on the floor. Leah looked up. She saw an emergency exit. Mia looked up too. Mia gave Leah a boost and Leah pushed the roof panel out. She climbed up.
She stuck her paws out to get Mia. Mia jumped and grabbed on.
Leah pulled Mia up. They saw nothing. They looked around some more, then found a door that said "third floor". The elevator had gotten stuck after they just left the third floor. This time, Leah gave Mia a boost up.
Mia opened the door. Leah grabbed on to Mia's paws and Mia pulled her to the third floor door.
The two decided to take the stairs instead.
They thought of a funner way to go down stairs. Leah demonstrated what she meant. She got on to the railing and slid down. She laughed as she went down.
Mia got on the railing and slid down too.
When they got to the main floor, they rushed out the door. They saw the doctor still screaming. The doctor looked down. He screamed again, then stopped after he saw Mia and Leah. The girls laughed as they walked down the road.
A truck was headed straight for them. Mia and Leah ducked down and were under the truck. No damage was done to them. The girls kept doing that every time a vehicle drove by.
The girls saw an unusual ship at the dock. It looked like a pirate ship.
The girls came closer. The ship was held at the dock by a rope. The ship was huge close up. The girls grew excited. They climbed aboard and Leah imitated the captain of a ship. Mia acted like a pirate. Mia found two sharp swords. She handed one to Leah. The two girls had a big sword fight. In pirate movies, the pirates would always sword fight. The girls watched tons of pirate movies whenever they snuck into the theatres. Leah's sword accidently cut the rope holding the ship.
An angry looking pirate captain waved a fist at them. "That's me ship ya scurvy rascals!" he yelled.
The girls laughed and stuck their tongues out at the pirate dog.
Mia started steering the ship with the wheel. Leah was in the crows nest with a telescope.
As Mia were steering the ship for a long time, she heard footsteps. Leah caught a glimpse of pirate dogs and wolves, and not the nice kind. The pirates' fur were greasy and dirty, they had tattered, old clothing and some had long grey beards. Leah also caught a glimpse of a pirate with a crimson red bandanna around his forehead.
Leah saw some carrying boxes and crates of supplies.
Mia was still holding her sword from the sword fight. Leah picked up hers and climbed down to the deck. Leah warned Mia.
The pirates came around to the steering wheel area.
"We got 'em landlubber stowaways!" said the pirate with the crimson bandanna.
He pulled out his sword. The other pirates followed his commands. "Yarr! make 'em walk the plank! said a pirate wearing an eyepatch with a skull and cross bones on it. Leah and Mia were hiding their swords behind their backs waiting for just the right moment to fight them. "Get 'em!" yelled the pirate with the bandanna. The pirates pulled out their swords and were about to strike the twins. Mia and Leah pulled their swords out and started fighting the pirates.
It was an almost gruesome battle. Nobody was struck with a sword yet. Suddenly, Leah and Mia knocked all the swords out of the pirates paws. They quickly picked them up. They pointed their swords at the pirates. Instead, Mia and Leah made the pirates walk the plank.
The pirates must have hated being in water, for they screamed when they landed in it. Getting clean was their weakness, and Mia and Leah found that out quickly.
The sun was setting. Mia and Leah were hungry. Leah went and grabbed food from the kitchen for both of them. The ate quietly. They never spoke a word during dinner. Mia and Leah took turns steering the ship all night. In the morning, the two were exhausted.
Mia grabbed Leah and her something to eat.
They ate their breakfast, almost falling asleep. Leah let Mia rest and Leah steered the ship. The rocking sensation of the ship let Mia fall asleep faster because she found the rocking comfortable. After a couple hours, Leah went to sleep and Mia steered the ship. The two decided to take turns steering the ship and sleeping at night-time.
A couple days of traveling had passed and the weather was dreary. The clouds became darker and the
