Leah went into the captain's quarters. It was surprisingly cozy. Leah found a couple treasure maps, gold,silver and bronze coins and pieces and a mini ship in a bottle. Leah grabbed the maps. She went through drawers in the desk and found a log book with directions to all the islands where treasure was.

Leah brought out all the stuff and showed Mia.

Mia was surprised and accepted Leah's offer to look for buried treasure like real pirates.

Leah steered the ship with the directions from the log book being read aloud by Mia.

After tiring days of traveling, they reached their first destination. They let down the anchors. They grabbed their shovels and left the ship. They held the map in one hand and the shovel in the other.

The two followed the directions to the treasure. They got to "X marks the spot" and dug the ground with their shovels quickly.

Mia's shovel hit something hard. They dug out the extra dirt. There was the treasure chest! They excitedly carried the chest with all their strength. They were pretty strong for pups.

They lifted the chest to their ship. They set chest down on the deck. They picked the chest up again and set the chest in the captain's quarters. They laughed at the fact of the many pirates that didn't find anything. Leah flipped the page in the log book. The next island was probably going to be three days of traveling.

The next day, the girls saw darker clouds. There was the storm, back to haunt them.

They didn't mind, until they heard the loud thud of the thunder and the unexpectable strikes of the lightning bolts. Waves started growing higher. The deck would get washed every once in a while with a splash of water.

The girls went into the captain's quarters and locked the door. Through the window they could see the high waves hit the deck. They had brought all the stuff out on the deck into the room when they saw the lightning.

The water from the freak waves splattered on the window.

The girls drew the curtains. The waves didn't scare them. The thought of sharks seeing them is what made them drew the curtains.

The girls opened the curtains, just to peek. They saw completely water. They suddenly realized the ship was sinking. They barked loudly and grabbed all the treasures. They saw a small rowing boat and jumped on. They paddled away from the storm and the sinking ship wreck. They had the treasures. 

The storm had cleared. Mia and Leah followed the directions and rowed to the next island.

They rowed for days, then they reached their destination. They saw another ship. They ran and got the treasure quickly, then stole the other ship, leaving the small boat behind.

The last destination was next. Mia was drawn to the name of the island, Sarari Island.

Leah asked Mia what they would do next after they finished their pirating voyage.

Mia wasn't quite sure.

Leah was in the kitchen cooking the next night. She was cooking a fish over a stove. She put some berries next to the fish. She brought the dinner to Mia. She set it on deck. They ate the supper and talked about the treasure and what to do next, once the adventure was over.

After about two weeks, the girls made it to Sarari Island. They collected the last treasure chest. They felt complete and wealthy. When they walked to the ship with another treasure chest, they saw a medium sized motor boat with a couple rooms on deck and articles about great diving locations.

The girls decided to take that boat, along with their treasure of course!

They carried the treasure chests, valuable stuff, food, maps, log books and the other good stuff on their old ship. They took the stuff to the motor boat and put it in the storage rooms.

The girls went off on the boat. Mia and Leah read the diving articles and they knew that scuba diving was what they were going to do next.

They decided they were going to spend one month diving then go home.

They drove to a special area mentioned in the article and they put on their diving equipment.

Mia and Leah hugged each other and dived down at the same time.
