History:

As a fawn Erzino was teased by other fawns for his late development of antlers, even when he got them they were tiny. The coolest fawns in the forest were particularly mocking towards him. This is how he earned his name: Erzino meaning Teased. He would constantly have remarks like:

“Why’s there two acorns on your head where antlers should be?”

“Where do find those antlers, small Ville?”

“You antlers couldn’t win against dead bark”

This left him alone and feeling depressed. He was also teased for his unusual colours and markings. His parents also rejected him, often leading to fawn abuse. Whilst he was sleeping one night a flood hit his herd, leaving his whole herd drowned apart from him and the cool fawns one of which was Ronno, who later however, found a new herd, the others however refused to cooperate with him. Never the less, Erzino was determined that they all stuck together But the other fawns still mocked him and jeered at his attempts. As a teenager, the other fawns had average sized antlers whilst Erzino’s remained small, and he was still mocked. Due to all his years of grief, Erzino left. Erzino also encounterd a bear and in a misfortunate event his ear ended up with a rip. A few years later he heard the sounds of distressed deer. Upon peering from the bushes he found they where the cool deer he had once known.

“Hey guys” He called. They looked up hopefully then burst out laughing.

“Guy’s small Ville’s returned,” They laughed amongst each other. But just then the hunters came back to view their catch. Following his instinct, Erzino charged at the hunters, his new antlers swinging violently. These weren’t the tiny antlers he once had, these were bigger than any of the cool fawns antlers and easily wiped out the hunters. At this point no one was laughing, Erzino was a hero. But Erzino went on looking for a new herd, and gaining a warrior’s reputation …
