Personality: Righteous and brave, disregards and even breaks the rules if he must. He's very chivalrous, but also has a sense of naivety about him. He might be a little spoiled, and he might be a little momma's boy, but he's not offended nor ashamed of his own flaws. He takes them into stride, acknowledges them, and works to improve on them. Like his father before him, Karus dreams of the perfect family.

History: Karus grew up in a large harem, his father the sole protector of them all. He was already old when Karus and his twin were born, and unfortunately he passed when Karus was a small fawn. Karus's mother, as head doe, took up her mate's place as leader, even if it was met with criticism and disdain from the other does, and they sought to make another buck their leader. Eventually, another buck did take over the pride, and Karus grew with having other siblings about. He and his siblings went largely unnoticed by their technical 'step-father'.

Karus was always meant to succeed as the new head of the herd, that much his mother was certain. His 'step-father', however, was none too pleased about this development, but he was honorable. He promised Karus that he would succeed as leader if they could duel in battle for the right once Karus's antlers grew in. And when they did, it was a brutal, but honorable battle, and Karus did not kill his 'step-father' but allowed him to live. His step-father gracefully gave up his position to allow Karus to lead.

At first it was tough, but with his mother by his side, Karus quickly adapted to the role as leader of the harem. He did not notice the other does that joined the herd, at least not until he found Tea, who had wandered too far from her family's herd and had gotten lost. Karus took Tea to his herd, and watched over her, and pretty soon Karus found himself infatuated with the young doe. And she for him.

Before anything could start, Angelo, Tea's father, came upon the herd, and took Tea home. Karus was distraught, but accepted that Tea was gone, and at first he was sad that he might never see her again. But soon they were reunited, and after that began to meet up again in secret. Karus patiently waits for Tea to suggest living with him, as he believes that she doesn't want to yet leave her father's herd.
