When it comes to art, it's something I had to learn and work very hard to improve. I didn't start taking drawing seriously until I was 13 years old. After 12 years of trial and error, of being made fun of by "good" artists and after being told countless times by my mother "You can do it", I finally became what many people call a "pretty talented artist". And I still have so much more to learn.

When it comes to writing, however, that's a whole different story (no pun intended!). From the moment I could control my imagination at the age of 4, I would set up all my toys and play a game involving all the characters following a plotline that I myself had invented. I didn't know it at the time, but I was a writer.

In 1st grade, my school district was holding a Writing Contest for K-12 and every school in the district would participate; the prize was a Writing  Scholorship to basically any collage in the country. It was a large district that held several different Elementary, Middle and High schools. There were literally thousands of participants.

And I...a too-small-for-my-age 7 year old child of Lois Allen Elementary School, WON.

Granted, I moved so many times since then that I never got to use my prize and go to collage, but still. The fact that I beat out thousands of kids who were much older than me was amazing. I knew then I was born to be a writer.

I have over 20 stories on Fanfiction.net in at least 10 different genres, not to mention countless reviews/comments, and that doesn't included stories of mine I posted on other websites. Aside from 1 or 2 disgruntled jealous folks, I've never had a complaint or bad review for my fanfics. The only complaint I seem to get is "It takes you too long to update!!!".

No, I have not yet completed any of my original novels (though I have started a few) but I will when the time is right. Until then, I love writing sequels to some of my favorite Disney films, and I also enjoy a good crossover.

I'm proud to announce that I have begun posting my first story on Bambi Source!! "Mircales of the Forest" is actually a small series of stories that coincide with each other, though they may seem at first to be just a group of several different stories.

All of the stories begin coming together with the opening of the first chapter, "The Rescue". Esentially, the series of events occur after the now 6 year old Prince Bambi risks his own life to save a bobcat kitten from a ruthless hunter. What the Prince doesn't realize is his actions will effect the whole forest and even Man's World beyond. The other stories take us deeper into the lives of the forest creatures, including Bambi's oldest children, Geno and Gurri (who we see as fawns in the end of the 1st film), Bambi's younger children,River and Raven, and even the children of Bambi's long-time companions, Flower and Thumper. This story also takes a very special look into the lives of Man: those who wish to protect the Forest, and those who wish to destroy it.

Follow the lives and deaths of these wonderful creatures as they struggle to survive and bring up their offspring in a world filled with terror and uncertainty. See the trials and tribulations of the Prince as he courts Death and Destiny, and see just how far Bambi will go to save a creature many feel had no right to be saved in the first place.

This story is guaranteed to make you laugh, make you cry and make you feel like you're really in the forest witnessing the culmination of this epic adventure; "Miracles of the Forest" is sure to be a sheer delight to all audiences.
