Feathervenom, this alternative sexuality stuff ALWAYS leads to arguments and flames, because it is so very controversial. And, no matter what anyone might say to the contrary, it is not as one-sided (either way) in today's society as either the liberal OR the conservative media might have us believe. But either way, it certainly does not belong in a place like this. It nearly tore this site apart a few years back...and if it garners enough attention, it always will present such a threat.

I get on, looking at the comments to see what people want to see/think, and I see this massive discussion that is quickly heating into flames. So this is what I think, and I'm very sorry if it's harsh or too 'mean' for you: This stuff MUST COME DOWN, and I do NOT want to see this conversation continue; I'm just sick of dealing with it! It's an innocent sie, and this content - I'm surprised it managed to get on - is just too controversial and needs to be on DA, not here. I'm sorry.
I'm following Jersey. I really don't want to deal with a flame war. I don't mean to be unkind or unsensitive. I do actually have a deer totem; so I should have gentleness in words, but I really can lack it when I feel it needs be so.

Guys guys...I don't know that antagonizing this young girl will solve any problems. Clearly she has some hypersensitivity about this issue already, and seems to think the rest of us were attacking her. I think that's unfortunate, but I am not going to bandy back and forth with an eleven year-old child about what she is very apparently, to the majority who posted here, doing wrong. If she reacted the way she did (and her alleged "sister" did as well), then there will be no getting through to her.

I simply and respectfully stated my opinion. I got amateurishly lambasted for it by a child (or perhaps two children). As far as I am concerned, it is not worth the effort to continue. I am stepping away from this before it gets ugly.

Text talk: That's what any kid would say, it's the internet, it doesn't matter. It makes you look stupid when you do, and it's hardly proper English. The way I see it, SMS is out of date, phones are capable of using all letters n' stuff. It's just an excuse to be lazy. Especially if your on a computer.

I Vs. i: I don't understand something. When I was your age, I could capitalize I. I believe even when I was like in first grade I could.

I: This I is used when you're talking about yourself. Ex: I went to the store. His mother told me I couldn't go. I is always capitalized at the beginning of a sentience at all times.

i: This i is used when you're not talking about yourself.

Also, as a suggestion. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
