Hey,

I'm a fan of alternate Disney pairings (Ie: Snow White + Grumpy, Cinderella + The Grand Duke), so, without further ado, I'd like to suggest the following RP scenario:

Cinderella and Prince Charming are married, but, as the days go by, Cinderella finds herself being drawn to The Grand Duke, and, in spite of herself, she begins to fall for him.

I'll be Cinderella, but the following characters are available:

The following is an approximation of the format that your profile should follow:

NAME: Cinderella

CRUSH/ SPOUSE: I'm crushing on The Grand Duke, even though I'm the wife of Prince Charming!

PERSONALITY: I'm an example of your classic, psychological repression case! When I lived with Lady Tremaine and my stepsisters, I had to swallow my dreams, deny myself any truly selfish pleasures, and be totally obedient! Prince Charming freed me, to some extent, but I've been living with him for some time now, and I'm beginning to realize that he is sort of an indecisive guy, who has been groomed by his father, and by The Grand Duke. I'm starting to realize that The Grand Duke put forth all of the effort by which I was even found for the prince. I'm starting to fall for The Grand Duke, and, in some ways, I really don't care about what my new, selfish attitude will do to the kingdom!

Crush/Spouse: I have no spouse, but I am developing a crush on Cinderella. We secretly meet each other and moments alone.
Personality: I have feelings for Cinderella, but I must be careful of the prince and the king. They musn't know I am in love with Cinderella. I can get easily scared, especially with the king, but I try to be brave and determined even through the hard times.I dance with Cinderella every night, but as you probably know I don't make a very good dancer. At times, I can be quite the hero, sometimes. Hehe.

You're accepted, but I'm not going to start the RP scenario until Sunday, at the earliest, just in case anybody else wants to join.

Speaking of the story, I've actually begun writing fanfic versions of both the "Cinderella + The Grand Duke" and "Snow White + Grumpy" scenarios (slightly more adult than what I'd write here... ), so I may start the RP scenario by being slightly more innocent about what I've already written.

That's great! Writing fanfics about different couples is really nice.

ACK! I should have started the RP on Sunday, but, since you started it, that's cool. It'll be vastly different from the fanfic that I was writing, but that's okay.

When I saw The Grand Duke, I had to force myself to remain seated, looking calm, for my heart was racing, excited and fearful, due to our secret, a secret, which, should it ever be realized, couldn't be sanitized away like a spot on the castle floor!

"Good day, Sir," I managed breathlessly. "I am...alright...if only I could write out these invitations more rapidly!" The invitations were spread all across my lap, AND all over the bench, because I had snuck out to write them in the fresh air, so that I wouldn't have to stay in the castle all morning long; I was certain that the ink was already drying inside of the ink pot, which was sitting beside me.

Sneaking a sidelong glance at the older gentleman, I took his hand in mine, almost beggingly. I was melting, but I knew that I couldn't show one ounce of impertinent affection until nightfall, until my youthful prince was fast asleep, dreaming of me.

Looking away again, I sighed, so that my secret darling could read my mind. Then, I suddenly brightened.

"What shall I tell the cooks to make for...dessert?", I inquired, giving The Grand Duke a flirtatious look that he could ponder for nights to come.

"Hmm," I said, thinking, with my hand in hers. "How about some cheesecake?" I smiled, knowing how much I loved cheesecake. I noticed her invitations, lying on her lap and the bench. "Shall I help you, Mam'?" He picked up some of the invitations from the bench, and set them on his lap, sitting next to her.

I tried to take in both of The Grand Duke's questions at once, smiling good-naturedly at him.

"Cheesecake...", I mused, glancing up at the perfect, white clouds that were lingering in the blue sky. My eyes tried to focus upon those clouds, but they drifted to the swirl of licorice-hued hair that always whipped itself upward, like a frothy, possibly frozen dessert.

Leaning to close to my secret darling, I gazed up into his eyes.

"I wouldn't mind the cheesecake," I sighed, "if only there was a dollop of whipping cream on each piece!" Purposely letting a letter slide off of my lap, I bent to pick it up, blushing up at The Grand Duke.

"I LOVE whipping cream!", I declared, trying to sound ordinarily enthusiastic as I whisked the fallen letter from the ground, handing it to the monacled one.

Returning my gaze to the sky, I sighed again, closing my eyes, imagining forbidden banquets.

I kept my eyes closed, even as I felt my forbidden love's embrace. Melting slightly, I allowed myself to snuggle against his shoulder, imagining the pleasures that lay beyond that smart uniform of his. We had, after all, been most innocent up to this moment.

He asked me a question, but my mind didn't WANT to hear the words that he spoke. I was so very tired of being so dutiful, even now that I had gotten more than I'd ever even wanted from life! I had seen him, at the bottom of those stairs, and only he had had the brass to treat me like a true lady. Only he had gone to all of the effort to find me, to INSIST that I try on the slipper, to make me feel as worthy as I had always believed that I'd had a right to feel. When he had touched my foot with such gentleness, I had not been able to do anything except to sigh lightly, warming to his touch as he had offered the candy-clear shoe to me.

Feeling his shoulder against my cheek, I opened my eyes.

"What was that, my lord?", I inquired, blushing slightly at my own fanciful words.

I laughed, trying to be gentle, but feeling quite surprised at The Grand Duke's exhaustion.

"Are you quite ALRIGHT, Your Grace?", I asked, smiling, hoping that he wouldn't take offense at my laughter.

He gave me a slightly stern glance, then one more look through his monacle, and I watched in surprise as he took every single invitation in his arms, preparing to whisk them away for me.

"Oh, but YOU needn't do THAT for me, Sir!", I protested, wondering what his mood truly was during this moment.

As he looked at me again, I sighed, hoping that our warming friendship wouldn't melt, like so much sugar in the rain.

As I stood before His Majesty, The King, I wondered what sort of a mood HE'D be in today, and I sighed.

"So," he began, giving me a quizzical look. "The invitations have been sent out?"

"Yes, Your Majesty!", I answered, smiling winningly, hoping to win his approval. "All 300 of them," I added, wondering if the ballroom would be large enough to accomodate all of those guests.

"I trust that you sent them...SPEEDILY..." His eyes glared slightly as he zeroed in on me with them, and I almost backed away from him slightly, but I decided to keep my feet in their current position on the floor.

"The necessary arrangements have been made," I said smoothly.

Suddenly, I felt that there was somebody else behind me, and, out of the corner of my eye, I saw The Grand Duke. I knew that my face was ever so slightly pinker than usual, and I closed my eyes impulsively, taking a breath that was at once nervous and calmly desirous.
