In addition to the rest of the site rules, these rules apply to the adoption topics.
When making an adoption topic you must;- Add images of the character(s) up for adoption.
- Add a small bio for each character. - It doesn't have to be an entire story, just an idea of the character.
- Put effort into your topic, please try and avoid first-come-first-served adoptions.
- Not use stolen characters, art or renders/lineart. Create it yourself or don't make the topic.
- Try not to post multiple adoption topics. Put all characters for adopting in one topic.
- Add only character's for adopting. If you made one you want to keep yourself - don't add it with "mine" labelled next to it.
- Add a bio form for people replying who want to adopt to fill in.
- Post only characters and/or designs for adoption. There's not a lot of point in adding ones you're keeping and thus no one can adopt.
If you can't think up a bio form, here is a small template one you can use;
- Code: Select all
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Breed/species:
Personality:
History:
When replying to an adoption topic you must;- Add a coloured image of the character you want to adopt.
- If you're using a lineart or render - only good colourations will be allowed. It must look like the character.
- Add a bio for the character.
If you want people to adopt your characters - it helps to make a good adoption topic; Most people don't like very messy topics or confusing ones.
Examples of good and bad adoption topics:
Good Adoptions:- Old characters you no longer use.
- Pups of your characters.
- Siblings of your character you don't feel like keeping.
Bad Adoptions:- Random brightly coloured wolves/dogs you made up 5 minutes ago.
- Random "I have a ton of wolves for adoption!" topics in general. No one likes puppy-mills.
-- If you see an adoption topic not following these rules, please report it.
