I can keep it light for them, and keep the Amarok as far away as possible." she chuckled, using her demonic power to light the torch ablaze. Katie leaned down and picked up Denali in her mouth, moving at a quick trot. Kodi followed his mate's example, picking up Derbin in his mouth. Tai closed her eyes, letting herself become a little more aware of different emotions coming through before she reopened her eyes, looking about.

"Dire Wolf?" asked Cachen, cocking his head slightly and looking around slowly to keep an eye out. "Prehistoric species of wolf," explained Sakak, keeping his eyes out. "Biggest mortal species to ever live, but they all went extinct." Jenna was still getting used to Sakak being FAR older than all of them put together. "But thefire should keep him away, right?"

"They should, at least Jenna's will," explained Sakak. "If we could find a cave and put the Dog Talsiman at the front of it, the Amarok wouldn't be able to enter at all, so we'd be safe there. Do you think we should do that and move during the day when its asleep?"

Aleu asked, head turning to the left, and to the right. "The dark isn't much of a problem, but there's also a large forest in front of us." she said. "Hmph, there should be something." Tai said, thinking back. "Even if we found an old den and dug it out a little, that should be enough." she said, ears splaying as she thought long and hard.

"And I would like to think I'd spot him, since he's as tall as the trees..." she rolled her eyes, lowering herself again. "Sorry, folks, looks like we're just gonna have to be careful." she shrugged helplessly. Aleu only nodded,looking forward. "As long as we're quiet, Amarok shouldn't be too jostled around by us."
