Birdy got comfortable on the porch of her house and tucked her muzzle into her tail. Her eyes slowly hooded and finally, once sleep hit her, they closed completely.

A WOMAN?! Avery slowly released his grip on the person and growled lightly when she cradled him like he was a human child. Avery hated being held, cuddled, or nuzzled and he disliked humans as well, but this one...she seemed to sooth him.

Avery exhaled through his nose. He waited a bit, eyes narrowed at the girl, before closing them and lying his head on her hand.

Later on, Birdy awoke to find out that she had the most strangest dream about Nikko being an undercover police dog who was actually a wolf. "That was so...weird," she said and slowly stood up to stretch. After doing so, the fluffy dog padded over the lawn to get a drink of water from her dish.

Morgan sat in the back with the pup...She was ordered to put him in a cage so she did.

"No...no!" Avery slammed his body into the cage door, hoping it would pop open like all of the other cage doors. It didn't, and the puppy began whining, scratching at the cage, and barking. "No, no, no, no, no, no!"

What the heck am I supposed to do with these?! Avery cried in his mind. Well, I know what to do with them, but I don't want 'em! The puppy let loose a howl and chewed at the bars of the cage afterward.

A sudden, shocked yelp escaped Avery's lips and he jumped back. She hit him! Avery looked at his nose, managing to cross his eyes before glancing back up at Morgan. He growled to himself before returning to the back of the cage to lie down.

Birdy went back to the wolf-er...Nikko's house. Once she got there, she saw a few more dogs there along with Nikko and his friend. There was a girl putting a collar on a puppy. "Someone's got them a new dog," she said, remembering the day when she was first adopted.

Avery didn't fight back this time, and let Morgan put the collar on his neck. Sighing, Avery shook his head. Great, now I'm a house pet!
