It's rather clear that Dixie intended for people to discuss WHO, as in people you know and not yourself, reminds them of Balto characters. To me that doesn't include yourself.

Mighty is absolutely correct in her analysis of the OP's intent for this topic. It is not to discuss what character the individual poster relates to the best, but if there are any people in their lives whom they feel remind them of characters from the Balto movies. This is a no-brainer.

STAYING on the subject and following Mighty's rules, Kirby from Balto III reminds me of Joesph Stalin(the communist ruler of USSR). I see that Kirby's face bears a resemblance of Stalin's. Not to mention that he wasn't too excited about Balto's idea of going out and saving Duke from being frozen to death.

(Note: I'm not trying to stir controversy and offend anyone. Just letting you guys know).

Well, this response is not an attack. But let's analyze what you said.

Steele reminds you of Josef Stalin. What are the qualities of each?

STEELE: Bully, coward, egomaniac, braggart, cheater, liar, manipulator.

STALIN: Psychopath, egomaniac, liar, mass murderer, cheater.

There are some similarities, but also many differences between the two.

But this idea that Kirby looks like Stalin? I really don't get that. Not seeing any similarity either obvious or subtle.




Besides, I don't see how either Kirby's reticence about rescuing Duke, much less the same attitude from Dusty, Ralph or even Kodi, bears them any resemblance to Stalin whatsoever. Each of them did show some degree of compassion, good humor and sociability--traits which Stalin utterly lacked.

I'd have to go with JC on this one. I can see somewhat of a resemblance in Kirby and Stalin's faces, but in terms of personality, they're nothing alike. Similar personalities is really what this topic is about. Now Steele and Stalin do have some similar personality characteristics, as JC has listed, but I wouldn't consider Stalin as being someone that would remind me of Steele.

EDIT: By the by dude...bearing on a totally uncalled-for remark in the BS shoutbox by another member, Kodi_Lennon, which was directed to you (and was about MightyBalto1925 and "others"), I would like to point out that I never implied or stated that you weren't entitled to your opinions on this. If you want to believe Kirby looks like Stalin, then have at it.

Don't let the bad behavior of certain members draw you into the drama of this place. There's already more than enough of it. And THAT particular member has some axe to grind that almost no one, who knows anything about it, can fathom.
