Anna listened to the sounds of war as it raged on outside, scaring her out of her wits. She felt another pain surge through her when finally she realized what was happening. She was having her baby. Anna looked around frantically for the guide on how to properly care for a newborn but couldn't find it. Just as she was about to call for her mother through a secret passageway in her closet the doors swung open, and she stared into the face of evil it self. "Please." She begged, backing away from his hand. She screamed when he got too close, a split second before Channing grabbed the man and began fighting. She watched, noticing the huge battle axe hidden in the closet with her. She took it off the rack and clutched it tightly, waiting for a moment to help Channing. She was getting closer and closer to having a child.

Channing glanced at Anna from the corner of his eye, blocking his side with his sword. He didn't know she was in labor and about to have their child. He kept fighting to protect her though, because he knew for a fact that he'd not let this guy steal the only thing precious to him any longer. They kept battling for a few more moments before Channing's sword was knocked from his hand, they began circling each other. Channing tried to stay out of the way of Commander Starlynn's blade, keeping on his toes. "You should've aided us in war Channing. Then maybe you'd be alive to watch your love die!" He exclaimed, raising his sword up to come back down and kill Channing. The young man waited for death to do him in as his heart beat sped up, faster and faster until he was sure that everyone could hear it beating. I came here to help save Anna from death, and now I'm the one who will meet my end. He thought, watching the commander for any slip up.

As he raised his sword up Anna jumped to her feet, running at him and screaming. She took one mighty swing with the battle axe and was sure that she had killed him. The axe went almost completely through his back, stopping just as the tip was coming through his chest. Anna looked at Channing as the commander tumbled to the floor. That was the very first time that she had actually killed somebody before, she didn't like it at all. "Channing." She said softly, trying to walk over to him but failing. She gripped her stomach and backed up, laying down on her huge bed. "Channing somethings wrong." She managed to say through clenched teeth. This wasn't good. Meanwhile the knights outside still fought with all their might, soon becoming an even number of people on the battle field. It looked as though they were going to win this epic fight. Anna hoped so, unable to imagine the life of living under a tyrant from the North. She clutched her bed sheets.

Channing jumped a little when a little blood splattered against him, looking at Anna in total shock. "Wow." Was the only word he could say as he moved to her. "Anna..." He said, looking her over before she sat on the bed. He walked over to her bedside and grabbed her hand, finally realizing what was happening. "Everything will be okay Anna, trust me." He said, wondering how in the world he was supposed to help her. He didn't know the least bit of child birth and wasn't at all expierenced. He looked around the room, grabbing a few towels and dipping his hands in warm water. He did know that he had to be clean to handle the newborn though. He sat beside her and talked to her, "You know Anna, I've really missed you." He said, trying to take her attention away from all that was going on. He held onto her hand tightly. He could only wait for his child to be born, wanting desperately for an instinct to kick in so he would become 'super dad'. Or at least for someone who had experience to come and help them.

Anna nodded as she took a couple deep breaths, "I've missed you too." She admitted finally. Another sharp pain sent Anna into tears as she began doing what her instinct told her. About an hour and a half later she was holding her newborn twins. A boy, with whom she named Chandler and a girl, with whom she named Farrah. Joyful tears streamed from Anna's eyes as she smiled at Channing. "Channing." She said, meeting his beautiful hazel eyes. Chandler looked a lot like his father and Farrah resembled Anna in almost every possible way, two beautiful children indeed. Anna was so proud of herself and of Channing, for being their for her. Now if the war would just end, it would make her day even better. Meanwhile outside, the knights continued to fight as hard as they could, not backing down and refusing to let these intruders just win that easy. The body count was piling up on the North's side, showing that the South was getting closer and closer to a victory. Anna smiled once again at Channing as her two children opened their eyes and blinked at her. "Hi babies." She said happily but quietly, looking over at Channing. "They're perfect."

Channing smiled happily as his first, then second child was born. He looked at Anna with a face full of life and love, holding his arms out for them. Channing took his son first, then his daughter. He held them close to him with a grin. "The little gal looks like you. But my son is the spitting image of me." He said, happy that his children were finally born. He continued to admire their beauty when something caught Channing off guard, "His hair is so light." Channing commented, looking at his son's hair. "Hmm. Chandler." He said, since his hair reminded him of a candle. "Candle maker." He said and chuckled before handing his son to Anna. He held his daughter close as she gently touched his facial hair, slowly opening her eyes to peak at him. "Gorgeous." He said and grinned once more. He kissed her on the forehead before letting her go back to her mother.

Anna smiled and nodded, "My uncles and cousins are natural beach blonds." She commented back, taking back her two children. She looked at the door as a figure pushed the dresser out of the way and rushed in, it was a guard. "Princess! The war is over! We were victorious!" He exclaimed happily, holding his sword proudly. Anna smiled even bigger, "Oh that's wonderful!" She replied, smiling from ear to ear. It wasn't too long after hearing the great news that she did notice the metallic sounds of swords against swords had finally stopped. She looked at Channing with tears brewing up. "Channing, you did it." She said and smiled, "You saved my kingdom, and for that I am forever grateful. Name one wish and I shall make it happen." She said knowing that she could only do something that was humanly possible. Her mother and father were celebrating in the dining room.

Channing nodded, watching her for a few more seconds after the guard entered the room with the big news. Channing smiled, feeling proud and finally relieved from everything. He knew very well that the Northern Kingdom would not dare come back now, since of course half of their knights were destroyed. Channing smiled and grabbed Anna, pulling her upward into a sitting position, "No Anna, we did it." He said with a chuckle, leaning forward and kissing her for a few seconds. When she told him to name one thing his whole demeanor changed, taking a few steps back and kneeling. From his pocket he pulled out the same small box he had shown her about 9 months ago, with the same ring inside. "Anna, will you marry me? That is the only wish I have." He said, his beautiful hazel eyes gazing deeply into hers. He hoped that this would be the very last woman that he'd have to say those words to, knowing that Anna could never be replaced anyway. Meanwhile the knights were celebrating at a tavern, getting their first 2 round of drinks for free since they aided the kingdom in war. Channing thought of going there himself in a few minutes to have a drink himself.

Anna smiled happily as the love of her life knelt down on one knee and proposed once again to her. He really did mean it the first time. She thought, tears brewing in her soft hazel eyes as she nodded. "Yes." She said with a big smile. Thoughts of the time when they had hated each other began to race through her head, making her smile even bigger about how far along they had come. Anna looked down at her two sleeping children and then at Channing, holding out her left hand for him to slip the ring onto her ring finger. My parents will be thrilled that their only daughter has finally found someone with whom she actually does wish to marry. She thought with a grin, thinking back to all the times her parents had tried to just give her away to any prince but she declined them all. Never in a million years did she ever think though that she would be marrying a lower class warrior. But in her eyes, that was perfectly okay.

Channing smiled again, this time a bit deeper. This was actually the first time he had smiled more than 5 minutes, making him feel a bit better. He took a careful hand and lifted the beautiful ring from the box, slipping it onto her ring finger and holding her hand for a few more seconds. He could only gaze up at her, the sunlight creeping into the window and shinning against her back. Making her look as though around her was glowing a light yellowy haze. Channing finally got to his feet and looked down upon her, looking around the room to make sure she had everything for her children. He noticed a crib, highchairs, toys and a few blankets around. He nodded, looking over at the door then back to Anna. "Looks as though we need a carriage now to travel the whole family." He joked, smiling at her. Though he was looking for a bit of laughter he would go and buy one if she did truly desire to have one.

Anna chuckled at the joke, noticing how much Channing had changed since she very first met him. She nodded, actually giving it consideration. "That would be lovely, but I'd rather stick to riding my horse." She said and smiled, feeling the cold silver with her other finger. Chandler reached a tiny hand over and tried to grip the ring, failing since his grip was no tighter than that of the infant he was. Anna smiled at him, the ring looking as though it could slip over his hand and halfway down his arm. The two children weren't that big, in fact they looked a bit smaller than they were supposed to. Anna noticing and going deeper into thought.

Channing smiled and watched his children, his smile slowly dropping when he noticed that Anna had more of a thinking look. "He's fine Anna, they're fine." He said, using his hand to guide her face to his as his lips brushed against hers briefly. "They couldn't be more perfect." He said, glancing over at the two young children. "I don't love them any less because of their size." He said and kissed the tops of his children's heads before looking back up at Anna.
