Cheyanne began a coughing fit, and wouldn't stop until she opened her eyes and shook her head. "D*mnit. Ugh.." she let out another cough, before looking at Zasshu. "Where's Sapphire? I 'outta kill her. That bitch. Saying we should discuss this." Cheyanne was majorly pissed at that wolf. "What'a coward...." she bared her fangs and stumbled on her feet.

"Sapphy..." Markus said softly. "Choker and Blood were sick in the head. Reasoning with them would have been a lost cause."

"I don't know where she is, but Markus went after her." Zasshu answered Cheyanne.

Marshall licked the surviving pup softly, who was asleep against his chest.

Cheyanne gave a low growl, her amber optics moving the direction of her last, male pup. Who was in fact, Zasshu's, not Loki's. He would be the pup Cheyanne kept, and took care of right. She, and Zasshu, would teach him how to lead a pack, he was going to the next alpha. Cheyanne trotted into the den, which was soon going to be empty, and grabbed the dark pup. He looked exactly like his mother, and nothing like his father. His eyes a deep, amber, his fangs flashed a pearly white. Cheyanne sat the medium sized pup on the ground, in front of Zasshu's large paws.

Zasshu peered down at his tiny son, who resembled his mother. Smiling, he licked the pup, and the frail little pup fell over from the force. The he wagged his small tail, putting his tiny paws on his father's nose.

"What do we name him?" Zasshu asked, keeping his eyes on his son.

Zasshu smiled lovingly at his mate Cheyanne, then pulled the pup up against his chest with one paw, and patting the spot next to him with the other paw.

"Lay with me, and our son, Chey?" Zasshu asked her, with a soft, kind and loving smile.

"Oh, yes. Thank you for reminding me." Zasshu stood, grabbing Octavius by the scruff and heading to the exit. "Let's start looking."

"Nah, not at all." Zasshu chuckled. "Ya comfy up there, Octavius?" The small pup nodded with a wag of his small tail. Zasshu smiled, then exited the den, motioning with his head for Cheyanne and the pack to follow.

They searched for half the day, when finally, maybe 25 or so miles away, Zasshu, Cheyanne, and the pack came upon a beautiful grassy field, completely surrounded by mountain ridges, one of which had a huge cave at the base that was perfect for a den. There was also a huge, vast lake in the field with at least 5 different waterfalls.

"This is it." Zasshu declared, with a grin of confidence. "This is definitely going to be our new home. What do you think, Chey?" he asked, turning to his mate.

✘ Personality :: Maize's got a heart of gold and she's lived all her life not being able to show her love and affection to anyone. She doesn't know how to love others and what it means to be happy. Shes not confident but will stick up for herself if she needs to. She wants so badly to get to know other dogs and to make a life for herself but she just can't see it ever happening. Shes disappointed and depressed with her life currently with how its turned out but some where inside her their is a fire and chirpy pup that just needs to survive and surface. Maybe once she sees the light she will be fulfilled.

✘ History :: Maize was born into the life of living behind bars, the owner of a kennels meaning to breed her after finding out that her mother was pregnant with the litter. The owner sold the males of the litter and with Maize being the only female she was kept to live a harsh life behind bars until the kennels where shut down and she was left to defend for herself. She lived a while on the streets taking interest in only what kept her alive wandering why she had to live off scraps and sleep in alleys until she found a wolf pack and made her way in, since she was a small pup.

Zasshu chuckled, then grabbed Octavius by the scruff and placed the pup on his back between his shoulder blades.

"Come, Octavius." Zasshu directed, walking across the field with Cheyanne and the pack to check out the area, and to scout the cave at the base of the northern ridge. "Stay on my back until the coast is clear."

Yes BLH, Markus and Sapphire both went with the pack.
