Meeya and Freckles, Herb's fawns ran up to Bambi. Well, Just freckles 'Hey Bambi!' he said excitedly as Meeya rolled her eyes and went to play fight like her father.

Prince Bambi turned his head and nodded slowly.' Hi, Frecks.' He said, leaping up suddenly.
Zima stood back, quite surprised.'Sorry, are you busy?' She asked the Prince.

Bambi looked at her.' No, no. Well not really.'

'Oh sorry, guys..' he laughed and stepped back 'HEY MEEYA, WAIT UP!'

Zima stopped Freckles in his tracks.'No, no. It's okay, you can talk. I...I got to go.'

Bambi looked puzzled.'Go? What, already?'

Zima nodded.'Yes, well.No. Sort of. Umm..Well, I really came to ask you if you know of a bear (a male) in your father's territory. It's been in ours and some herds have sited it. There have been fawns and other animal missing and we are tying to track it down.'

Bambi looked blank.'A bear?' He looked at Freckles.

Freckle screamed 'BEAR?!'

Zima nodded, looking very worried.'Yes, have you seen any sign of it? I am suppose to report to my father...'

Bambi turned and looked up at the sky, he seemed to be puzzling over something.
Zima looked at Freckles.' Have you?' She asked, quietly, as not to disturb the Prince.

'Yes, It was near the end of this meadow when it was snowing yesterday!' he shivered as he remembered this sight of it

Prince Bambi turned back to face them.'Yes, and then it went a little North, towards The Silver Wood.'

Zima's blue eyes widened.'Then it's close..' she whispered.

'Where are you going?' Asked Bambi, as suddenly Zima backed quickly away.'I must tell my fathe...'

ROAR!

A massive clawed paw came out of the corpses and grabbed at her leg, battering and pulling her to the side. Zima cried.
Then, after a blood-curling roar it began pulling the white doe back.

Bambi stood still, shocked in terror as he watched the doe being pulled slowly back into the undergrowth and trees.

Meeya lunged at the bear tackling over Bambi and freckles. She defeated the bear, luckily. But it left her right hind leg full of scars.

She growled angrily and her now bleeding leg 'Can't you keep a bear in your own boundaries?! That could've killed all four of us!'

Bambi, who had fallen when Meeya had tackled him over, got up.' That was terrible! I haven't seen a bear face to face in ages! They are so big!' Bambi checked Freckles over for harm, then Meeya.'Your wounds look bad.' He said, grimly to her. Zima, luckily was not too bad, only a slightly ripped leg. Then tipping his head back the Prince gave a low bray, to call some does.

'Ya don't say?' asked Meeya sarcastically. Freckles got up. 'Geez, sis. You almost knocked me out! Aside from that, Your a hero!' he smiled 'Yeah, yeah, whatever.' she spat and limped off to Mena.

Bambi followed Meeya, making sure that she was well looked after.

Meanwhile, Zima had got up and was looking at the trail where the bear had ran off.
She studied the tracks, and suddenly her face looked puzzled.

Suddenly, Meeya collapsed of blood loss she let out a bellowing scream which caused the crows to go flying.
