Zima's head flicked round when she heard the scream. Heart pounding, she raced to where poor Meeya was and stood by her side.' What is it?' She asked, Mena.

Bambi looked worried.

Mena ran to her fawn 'Too much blood loss! I'll get her fixed up in time' she siad worriedly as she carried her fawn back to the den. Herb gulped down his tears

Zima suddenly dashed into the wood. She knew what Brance, The Silver Herd nurse would do. She must find some oak leaves and marsh mud! That is a great help for wounds. It was not hard to find a marsh, and luckily, there was an oak tree nearby. Zima reached up onto the oak tree's bark and tore off four leaves, then running to the marsh she dipped the leaves in.

She nearly drop the leaves and the mud she had collected when the large head of a bear appeared from the depths of the marsh.

The leaves which were in her mouth prevented Zima from crying out. But to her surprise the bear did not attack. Zima could see that it was bathing in the marsh to heal the wounds it had been given by Meeya.

Zima rushed back to Mena and Meeya.

Mena smiled 'Thank you for your help, Zima.' Meeya on the other hand, Sniffed at the marsh and pulled a face with meant 'EWWW'

Zima half-smiled at Mena and without a seconds hesitation, put the mud onto poor Meeya's wounds (dispite the fawn's dislike to the smell), and firm wrapped or placed the oak leaves over.

Then, Zima left mother and daughter. 'I should have calmed Meeya with gooseberries,' Zima said to her self as she left the two.'But I could find none.'

She met Bambi, who was leaning on a maple tree, still worrying over the fawn.'How is she?' He asked Zima.

'I don't know,' coughed Zima.' Her wounds are covered, but she will need to be brought food and water until she is strong enough.'

Bambi nodded.' Yes, I'll do that.'

Zima nodded.'Thank you, now I must go back. Javam, my brother, doesn't like it when I stay away from the herd too long.'

Bambi nodded and let her go on.

Zima sighed as she walkd through Bambi's forest. The bears track were everywhere, but they were not fresh.

'Mom, This stuff stinks!' she gagged 'I know honey, just relax.' she giggled. Meeya sulked and curled up to her mother like she did when she was a newborn 'Wake me up when the bleeding has stopped.' (I've designed Freckles! I'm just doing his bio now^^)

Zima walked slowly through the dewy meadow, thinking of Meeya. Was it her fault that the bear had come to Bambi's Forest? The bear AND the man? If it was, that would be TOO much for her to cope with!

When she awoke the icky stuff was off leaving tons of scars on her leg. She gasped 'cool! I get forest credit!' she said happily. And ran to Ronno to show it off 'Hey! Ronno! I've lost ALL of my spots AND I got me some scars by attacking a bear!' she said Ronno looked amazed 'Cool.. tons of Deer are talking about it! But, you did steal my credit for attacking man.' he began as he whispered into Meeya's ear.

'I think, your cute, Maybe I have a crush on you.' he admitted. Meeya gasped 'I thought you liked Faline!' Ronno shook his head 'nah, she's old news. And she's not got any cool credit or lost her spots like you, she was too much of a Baby Bambi lovin' skunk.' he whispered again (Sorry if that offended you if you like Faline^^)

Zima entered The Silver Wood, very shattered. Her leg still bled, but she didn't care. Meeya's wounds was all that ran through her mind. Poor Meeya! She thought.

Ronno then pounced backwards 'wanna fight?!' he asked playfully 'Yeah! Sure!' she giggled and began to play fight with the young stag

Zima laid herself down beside a willow and pulled at the wet grass.

The next day it was lovely and snowy. Freckles and Fairy played happily in the snow.

The gentle snow fell onto most of The Silver Herd deer, who were searching for food in the deep snow. Tytain, who had a limp ( he had it for months ) was having trouble searching. He put his front hooves onto a maple, but his limp leg failed him and he fell into the thick snow.

Tytain cried out in agony, but he managed to pull himself up. Tytain turned and saw his mother, Ivy, watching him worriedly. She wanted to help him, but he did not like deer helping him. And it was good for him to do things himself.

'I wonder if that nice Zima will come here today...' sighed Freckles 'Oh, The albino deer. Yeah, I saw her go passed me the other day, She's really pretty!' Smiled Fairy

Tytain dragged he imp leg up and looked at it, scowling.' Won't you ever get better?' He said bitterly.
