Boris really messed himself up with his "fear of flying" excuse. I mean, he shoulld've at least known that Stella was there with the faces Balto was making. How no one saw him get pushed into the Bush plane by Stella still is a itch to me?

Boris was too busy "tooting his own horn" (bragging, if you will) to pay attention to Balto. Haven't you ever been in a conversation where someone carries on and on while you try to get a word in edgewise, or drop a subtle, visual hint? baltoluv wrote: How no one saw him get pushed into the Bush plane by Stella still is a itch to me? Certainly someone saw him - Stella did. She even said so later in the cartoon after she came across Balto running down one of Nome's streets. And she made note of it at the time when she waved to the plane and shouted "have a nice flight, flyboy". It was unimportant to the storyline that people in the crowd would have noticed (and they might not have anyway). And it was obviously essential to the story that the dogs didn't notice. Analyze the story. Watch it with a keen eye on the details. Frankly, I always do that. I don't just casually soar through a movie, cartoon or episode without noticing what the story and the script are trying to tell me.

UK - Ban Cat wrote: The thing that got me more about Boris' fear of flying is that he did (somewhat) fly in Balto 1, I don't remember WQ because it's been so long since I saw it, but it didn't add up that suddenly in WoC he was scared of flying. It was even mentioned in Balto 1 that he flew to Nome to begin with, when he was with Balto on the boat and Balto says "Ever think about going back?" when they look at the migrating birds flying above them. Yeah, that was kind of confusing and irritating. The discontinuity between Balto 1 and the sequels, over certain character traits and design, is puzzling and maddening. But then, when Universal Animation Studios took the ball and ran with it, and Steven Spielberg's production company bowed out of sequel work (if they were even consulted, which I am sure they must have been, as they are part copyright owners in the original movie). It's like the sharp fall-off in quality when Don Bluth's absence came about in the sequels to Land Before Time and The Secret of N.I.M.H. (Universal Animation Studios and MGM, respectively). The quality fell off MARKEDLY! (Many would say tragically. ROFL)

But you must admit there where some plot-holes.
