What can I do about it? Nothing. I don't bother about such things. I said before: it's a cartoon. It's not War & Peace. I can forgive minor issues like a certain lack of anatomical realism, occasional plot holes or dead ends, etc.

I have a much harder time forgiving fans who obsess over such minor and niggling matters. Picking nits over a cartoon (whether it's a short episode of a televised series or a movie) is, as far as I am concerned, stupid in most cases. Not all, but certainly most. This would be one of them.

What's there to say, really? The moral of it is simple enough: don't lie. Especially with someone you're considering a relationship with. Take it from me: I was in a relationship steeped in dishonesty once. Not fun, not worthwhile.
