Actually, I did some searching myself and found they were thinking about it, but not necessarily going to make it for certain. I guess it's a very iffy thing. They're not sure what the profits would be. Though, I did find this:

You know what thats actually the best idea. A tv show. I cant believe I never thought of that. Actually I cant belive it never happend. Brother Bear just has all the perfect ingrediants for a good disney tv show. Even though it will never happen that got me kind of excited just thinking about it lol

You know what else I think would be a good idea if they dont make a part 3? A comic book. Im not a huge comic book fan but I think the adventures of Kenai and Koda would fit a comic book style very nicely.

I just did a search on google and only saw a petition for Brother bear 3. So where did you oversee this, Mantisboy? Did you do a lot of research?

The way the second was done, I HIGHLY doubt a BB3 will be made.
Do I want a third one? No. I don't think the second was needed. It only made more questions. 8/

Personally, the idea of having a third Brother Bear film just seems terrible. I mean, yes, we want to know what happens next between the trio of bears - Kenai, Nita and Koda - but what else is left to do except either have them make a cub or two of their own, or have Koda find a love interest? [especially since Disney would never let Koda die alone, right? Yes, he has Nita and Kenai for now, but he'll have to grow up someday...]

It would be as pointless of a sequel as the first sequel was.

I honestly didn't think the sequel was pointless.
Brother Bear fans would love to see a new Brother Bear film regardless about what may happen in the movie. We're here for the plot, the characters, and the movie itself.

Other things can happen in a third movie addition, you never know what the filmmakers have up their sleeves.
