Just bumping up this thread to say that there will not be a Brother Bear 3. John Lasseter has taken over, and he said there will be no more direct to video sequels to theatrical releases. This includes recent ones. Speaking of Monsters Inc. 2, Pixar is a totally different company, just owned and have their moves distributed by Disney.
While I myself would not mind seeing a movie about Nina and Kenai raising Koda, it's probably not going to happen. :c

Sadly Though, Brother Bear 3 Won't happen, Because Disney shut down It's 2D Department, Meaning no more Movies Iike Brother Bear. Lasseter also stated that there would be no more Sequals to older movies.

I think that a sequel for The Brother Bear would be great,also because there are a lot of Ideas and so many forgotten characters with their untold past/stories. If Disney would make a "Brother Bear 3" Movie (something that I would not bet about x'D), I'd really like to see a different and new plot: like for example that maybe Kenai and Nita had a cub and it meets his uncle Denahi (in this way we find out what happened to him after the first movie); or another nice plot, could be a one where it shows us the other secondary characters background like Tug and Tuke & Ruke's past or also why Koda's father isn't showed on the previous movies and so on.
There are too many ideas to be written for an hypothetical sequel, am I right? xD
