Well to be honest.. after the Second he wasn't the main Villian at all it was Belladonna who was in charge and answerable to.. and.. I suppose the reason why Carface was shown so light as a villain and a hench men in the second and the Series was so that you would get a less impact from the Very contradictional behaviour especially since Christmas Carol was more about him. It would be a bit odd.. to see Annabelle help Carface in the 3rd movie After killing Charlie by running him over.. and trying to kill him again in the First without a view that Carface has in fact partially changed and become a bit soft as show in the 2nd, The series and 3rd.

Well either way he is kind of a bullie instead of main villian so I guess that is considerd being a bad guy n someway right?

He sure is cuz why is he scaredof a cat... Go attack the cat, man! Shouldn't catz be scared of dogs in dis movie it'z reversed.

Well, let's face it. He couldn't really be as intimidating as he was before when he was alongside an evil so much more imposing.

This. Red was even worse than first movie Carface. He outright says that Carface is 'an amature' that's been trying. Red's a demon, probably not the devil himself, but still a high ranking demon. Carface was selfish evil, on the other hand, Red was pure evil incarnated. Carface was just pretty much a normal dog, even if he was immortal (I think) at the time, Red was superpowerful and Carface, even from the first film, was nothing compared to his power. He had every right to be afraid of him. Belladonna might even be stronger than Red, that and she was far more mentally unstable, so him working for her makes sense to.

Also, think about it, Carface spent the time between the movies in Heaven, I can't be the only one who assumed that softened him up a bit. And certainly going to Hell between the second film and the series had some effect on him (personally, I feel Belladonna brought him back to life and he was doing her bidding to repay her).

I think the reason why Carface's personality changed so much in the second movie was because he didn't have his "crew" to back him up and he was the one that was taking the orders instead of giving them. But since I'm not really a fan of the "villain" in movies I actually liked this change.

Good point. I mean heck, anyone can be tough when all they've got to worry about is one flesh-and-blood opponent, especially when they've got a whole crew of hired thugs at their command. But try being that tough working for a literal demon when you've got no backup.

true having henchmen made carface fell power and he let it go all to his head. after he lost them he was nothing more but a henchman himself. just like the saying "what gos around comes around" wouldn't you all agree?
