Ajani sighed. "That's what I'm here for."

Nala smiled "i'll be back soon" And she vanished.

Cheza met up with Kula and Chumvi and Tama and went with them.

Ajani stared at the setting sun. He was the only one left now. The only young one to survive against Scar. The Pridelanders were unable to go, due to their strict oaths, but the young ones could. And they had left, except him. He had chosen to stay behind, to fight against Scar, to rebel against him, and to keep him in check.

As the sun went down, it made the sky turn blood red. Ajani's eyes widened as it suddenly reminded him of bloodshed. He wondered whether it was a sign or not. But, ever since, he had developed an expectation of a war. He felt, no, he knew, that sooner or later, there was going to be a war. And the results, were not going to be pretty.

A while later after Scar continued to destroy the pridelands and the pride, Nala had finally found Simba and convinced him to come back, there was just one thing standing in his way. His uncle scar. How simba was going to fight him was unknown to Nala but it was her job to bring in more lionesses. For this fight she went and found her half sister Cheza and brought her back. Nala looked at Cheza "go find Ajani tell him we may need his help"

Cheza nodded and took off "Ajani" She whispered

Ajani had heard Scar's yell for Sarabi. During that time, he had slipped away from the pride and went to lie down in the cave. Suddenly, he heard someone coming. He jumped to his paws and growled, ready for the attack. But all he saw was a light tan face with blue eyes. He knew that face, but had never thought he'd see them again.

"Cheza?"

Cheza's eyes lit up and she smiled 'hey Ajani Nala needs your help' she said looking around 'simba's here'

"Simba?" Ajani asked, surprised. "My half-brother? I thought he was dead."

Cheza shook her head 'no hes alive and well'

Ajani opened his mouth, his head swirling with questions. But, the look in Cheza's eyes said enough to leave it till later. "Just give me a second. I'll rally the lionesses inside the den. The rest are on the other side of Pride Rock, away from the hyenas' eyes. You get those, okay?"

Cheza nodded and smiled 'see ya soon' she said sneaking out of his den and heading to the other lionesses.

Ajani nodded at her, watching as her tail faded into the shadows. He himself turned around and ran inside, trying to find all the lionesses who were still inside.

Cheza ran to the other side of pride rock and started gathering lionesses

With all the lionesses by his side, Ajani began to move to the summit of Pride Rock. He stopped when he saw Scar raise a paw and hit Sarabi. Rage flooded the young lion and he prepared to spring, but then he saw that he wasn't the only one who was watching their mother be hit. Ajani looked up and there, he saw a lion that looked older than him, but was golden with a red-brown mane. And what made things more awkward, this lion had Sarabi's face.

Simba saw Scar ready to hit Sarabi and rushed forward. Scar looked at his nephew "mufasa"

Nala and Cheza ran yo help Sarabi up

Ajani's body was humming as every muscle in his body told him to jump in and confront his father along with his brother. But, he also had to consider the other possibility; that Simba would see Scar in his half-brother instead of Sarabi. So, he just hid in the shadows and waited for the right moment to pitch in.
