OOC: I'll be her granddaughter.

Tina nodded. "Still, it'd be good for him to meet some other types of spirits." she said, smiling down at her pups.

OOC: Okies


Anabelle nodded, giving a light smile. "You know, it might be a good idea."


Lara looked up at her mother adoringly, snuggled up at to her leg with a wagging tail.

Tina smiled down at her pup. She looked to Anabelle. "Yeah, I'm glad."

Rosie's granddaughter ran in. "Come on Grandma Rosie!" she called, she then ran over to Blaze and Tina, petting them. "Hi Blaze! Hi Tina!" she said, then pet all the pups. She didn't see Anabelle, being slightly too old to see an angel.

Rosie came in slowly, a cane in her hand. It seemed her back wasn't as it used to be. "I'm coming, sweetheart, I'm coming." she said gently, petting Blaze's head as she walked in. "They're all getting so big, aren't they?" she said, sitting down in a nearby chair. Jakob came up and gently jumped into her lap. Rosie smiled at him, rubbing his head. She opened her hand to Tina. "Come here, Tina, how've you been?" she asked, her eyes glimmering with a youthful light.


Blaze smiled and followed his girl, nuzzling her hand as she pet his pups.

OOC: Rosie is aware Tina is far more intellgent than a normal dog. Like she said, she managed to convince Rosie to name her Tina instead of Jenna II. Up to you if Tina's let her know she's Jenna descendent.

Tina walked over an nuzzled her owner's hand. She went over to a small device on the wall and hit a button, getting scrabble tiles and arranging them in front of Rosie, spelling out 'I'm fine, telling pups about X-mas' on the floor.

OOC: That's based off how the dog in the original novel communicated with its owner.

OOC: I'm not against the idea at all Rosie knows Tina is related to Jenna.

Rosie smiled, rubbing Tina's head gently. "You are, are you?" she said, giving a grin. "It's a wonderful time of the year. It's been a long time since I've thought this much about it." she said with a sigh, looking like she was remembering. She picked up a picture of herself, Balto abd Jenna. She rubbed Tina's head again, and looked at her Grabddaughter. "Sweetheart, what stories haven't I told you?"


OOC: it's a good idea. In the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Esmerelda's goat could spel out names with blocks.

"Uh...I don't know, you haven't told me yet..." said the little girl.

Tina got more letters and spelled out 'You haven't told her the plane race story yet'.

Rosie's eyes lit up and she patted Tina's head. "thank you," she said softly, pattign the dog on the head. "This old mind of mine sometimes forgets.' she said, looking up at her granddaughter again. "I never told you about how Balto and the mail team beat a plane from Nome to White Mountain and back, did I?"


Lara looked at the tiles, tilting her head at the letters confusedly.


OOC: I wonder, would Tina teach her pups to read?

Her granddaughter shook her head. "No Grandma."

Tina spelled out 'I'll fill in parts you don't know, my mother told me,'.

Alex and Terra ran over and waited, wanting to hear as well.

OOC: Well it wasn't exactly stated, but in the book, the dog's children would supposidly inhirate their parent's intelligence, due to it being a genetic alteration.

Rosie nodded, smilign at the pups, who sat attentively. "Well, i'll tell it to you all then." she said, looking at all of them. "It was a few years after the sirum run, and everything was running well, until the first time I ever aw a plane in Nome..." she began, looking at the pups staring at her intently.

Lara tilted her head again, peering closely at the tiles. "Mama, what 'fill in the blankets' mean?" she said, stuttering lightly. She looked up at Tina expectantly.

Tina's eyes widened. "Y-you can read sweetheart?" she asked, dogs were normally incapable of it.

"It not easy, but I read too," said Terra.

Alex nodded. "Me three!"

Tina smiled. "Well you're very special then, babies, not all dogs can read," she said, then looked to Lara. "Fill in the blanks means I'll fill in the parts she doesn't know."

OOC: Think now is a good time to end this?

Lara and Jackob nodded. Lara looked especially happy. "Oh, okay Momma." she said, snuggling up with Tina again. "I love you, Momma."


Blaze was shocked, but grinned. "My kids can read! That's wonderful." he said, eyes sparkling.


Rosie smiled, watching the dogs. "I'm so glad to have dogs again." she said to herself, and continued to tell the story.


OOC: I think it would.
