NO! Leave this classic ALONE! Enough is enough with these sequals!!!!!

I have sources and well on the list it doesn't look like it's being planned at all there are quite a few other sequels being planned for other Disney films but as far as the source and I know. No TLK 3 is being planned at the moment.

I don't think that TLK 1/2 counts as a sequal but I hope there will be a 3. I'm not a hard core LK fan it's like a "Thing" to me

hahah I hope there is! Something stupid happened a long time ago when LK 2 was just released, I was at DreamWolf's house when her sister was being dumb, she ran in the room "I know! Lion King 3: Kovu's Pride!!!"... DreamWolf was laughing SOOOOO hard & wouldnt stop. o.o

What if they made a lionking3. What if they would have Kara and Kovu have cubs.

well if thay do make a TLK3 Then They might have to Take Simba And Nala out of the picture. Because the story to part 3 is going to have to be about kiara and kovu's cub/cubs, and they might not have much uses for Simba and Nala.
plus by then Nala and Simba might be to old by the time kiara and kovu's cub/cubs get older.

and i don't want to see a part 3 to find out the two stars of the move, the ones that started it all die in it.

it will make me very sad to see that.

But I think that the thought of an actual TLK3 is impossible. I mean, yes SP left a slight plot opening there with the whole "OMG now Kovu and Kiara are together Let make them have cubs etc. etc. etc." stuff . . . but it's over. The two prides, both Scar's "evil" pride and Simba's "good" pride have joined together. The End. Just stop it now before someone gets hurt.

The best things in life come in threes. Trilogies make movies better in that whole continuing sense. I mean, first you have the one that started it all (TLK), the one that tells a new version of the first story (TLK1.5) and at last, the one that continues where the original "supposedly" left off and closes the epic tale with a sense of coming together as one (TLK2). IMO, the same/similar format seems to work for such other film series like: Aladdin (which was followed by Return of Jafar and King of Thieves), Beauty and the Beast (followed by The Enchanted Christmas (which did take place in between the original . . . OMG midquel!) and Belle's Magical World), and of course, Balto (Wolf Quest and Wings of Change . . . but you guys knew that by now, right?).

So, I agree with Drew: Disney's sequel department is too busy destroying other classic Disney animated films to continue on with Pride Rock's Circle of Life . . . . And besides, isn't that what fanfics are for?

SimbasGuard: Yeah, they could use a subtitle. It worked for the Aladdin, B and the B, and Balto sequels (overseas, if I remember correctly). And besides, the numbers get overused after time . . . .

Lion King 3 isn't very good made...
I don't understand why Disney can't make a good 3th path of Lion King.
Universal did it with Balto...so why not Disney??

Disney has ruined enough classics. They don't need to make a LK3

I still think it would be interesting to see how Mufasa grew up with Scar and all them... It would be interesting to see how Scar became so evil.
