Nope. Never saw that character.

Now Aleu, she's not so bad. Not terribly great either, but not bad. A bit self-absorbed and selfish, perhaps, but I understand the whole "world turned topsy-turvy" thing inferred earlier in the topic.

But this "Alue"...who is he/she/it? People keep bringing that character up, and I keep wondering where it is. Because he/she/it is not in any of the official character lists on Balto Source, or on any imdb.com page for this particular movie or the other Balto movies.

I don't think Imdb is the best place to search. I did try Wikipedia and it seems to hold true to the movie. As for her personality, I assume she matures as she grows. It was stated earlier in the thread want it?

I was being a bit sarcastic, in case you hadn't picked up on it (which you obviously hadn't). There is a lot of frustration among fans, like me, about those other fans (especially in the younger end of the spectrum) who consistently misspell the character's name as "Alue". It's so freakin' irritating, when the material is right there in front of everyone over and over again. It SHOULD be a no-brainer.

As to Internet Movie Database, as far as getting the names of characters, character lists, actors/actresses, etc., the site is just fine.

I hear ya. I mean It's A-L-E-U! Not A-L-U-E! *sigh* Oh well... Although, I can see how people would make that mistake.

Given all the material in print (electronically) on the web, including here, I cannot fathom how that is possible except as a result of callous laziness and indifference. And that is not someone who ought to be posting anything.

If that translated into lack of research then that's my point.

And once again, I point out that it doesn't take much in order to find the character's proper name, properly spelled. No one need do any manner of "research" to make that happen.

Okay seriously, people who hate Aleu don't really hate Aleu.
They just hate teenagers, the age group that she's in. That's why she acts the way she does, that's how teenagers act.

And I think those who prefer Kodi over Aleu simply like the fact that Kodi doesn't bother you with things such as a personality.

Well, not necessarily. Yes, some of Aleu's traits are teenager-ish and she may grow out of them, but I certainly don't think people dislike her because she's around that age

People dislike her for a multiplicity of reasons, and much of it has to do with personal preferences. Some people may despise her voice, but others may think it's cute. Some may think she's ugly, others, pretty. It all comes down to opinions.

(And in complete and utter honesty, I think there's a few members out there who either hate or like her just because a popular member hates or likes her, and so they think that's the "cool" thing to do. -_- Of course, that's not everyone.)

But yeah. I think it has very little to do, if at all, with their opinion on teenagers in general.

Yes, because no matter with her innocence, with only one year old she had to face the harsh reality that she was part wolf and looked for an answer, which she found, the song Who You Really Are, and when she and the pack howls parts makes me cry :')

I would have to admit that i honestly do like Aleu. She works great for the father, daughter conflict.

I loved Aleu. Loved her voice. Design. Character.
I'm a fan. c: Though the bottom choice kinda exaggerates my excitement, lol cx
