Which one or ones do you like better?
I prefer both films are good but I hate it when they changed ADGTH style in animation but the story line is very good though along with the first movie. I just wanna hear your opinions since I told you mine XD

I like both, even if the two have very diffent styles, there both well made and I watch them from time to time.

I like both, but I prefer the first movie by far. The animation style was much better in the first movie.

I feel like without Don Bluth and with such a new direction that the second film stands alone from the original in such a way that they are hard to compare. Both are great films and while I think the first film pushes more boundaries, the second is still a great film. I can't choose!

Both! I couldn't have enough of ADGTH 2 especially the good songs. ADGTH 1 was especially good for its time

I've scene both movies, but I don't remember the second one nearly as well. But I would have to say I liked the first movie the best.

I would have to say both, nothing beats the original but they both have the good and bad sides of each other which even it out for me. i think i would lean more towards the first movie but i voted for both as its more both i love. i will explain my reasons in a review, but i got my vote and its hard to decide =P but i guess i explain alittle here

The first movie was of course the first i saw as a kid, i had no idea what was going on yet i loved every minute of it. It wasn't till recently (I say july i think) That i rewatched the first movie then for first time saw the sequal. i dont know why but i loved the second movie much more then the first, i think its cause it was more happier then the first but now i think about it. the first movie treats you more older when the second looks like its made towards little kids. Its a hard decision as i aint seen the second movie for abit but once i do i will know =P

I Liek the first beause It was the original (Which is always hard to beat) and The one I grew up with. Its also pushed alot of boundaries (Lets face it, Notr every movie has dogs drinking beer and gamling) I was always captured by it, even if the little girl (Anne-marie? I think thats her name) Annoyed me slightly.

The Second I just Straight out like. I loove the music and It made me laugh a coupleof times. Though i must dmit I only ever saw it once (It was aired on Christmas day one year, Ive still never worked out why xD)

First off, this belongs with the films, not the TV series . . .

Secondly, to answer the question, I like both . . .

Both films have something charming about them. The first is brillant, and I agree, it does push the boundaries of children's animation (with the talk of gambling, drinking, usage of canines smoking cigars and firing machine guns, obvious talks of death and the afterlife . . . and even HELL of all places . . . YEAH, not exactly kid-friendly in today's standards but it's a CLASSIC that should and will never be censored), and that's what makes it a masterpiece. The second, despite its flaws and inconsistencies, does manage to stand on its own . . . perhaps for good reason. It's very kid-friendly and tame compare to the original, but the relationship between Charlie and new characters Sasha and David make it sweet and heart-warming. The story is a FAIL still.

I vaguely remember the second, but the first gets my vote simply because it refused to let itself be dumbed down for children. It has all the deadly sins and for an animated movie that's pretty awesome.
