First Book: Not really into it that much anymore. I didn't start reading until the fourth movie came out, and then I just started reading the fifth and went back to number one after that. I think the overall thrill of it wore off. And, Conay, I totally agree with the name change thing (and, FIY, I am the most american girl ya'll gonna get).

Second Book: Basically the same reaction as the first. I find it harder and harder to relate to book about eleven and twelves year olds nowdays. Sure, they'll kinda exciting, but... interest factor is gone.

Third Book: This one I really, really liked. After I got through it. I mean, come on, at the beginning it was really, really slow paced. Awful! Then Sirius comes in and makes it all interesting again. ^^ (you so can't tell that I love him)

Fourth Book: Um, well, it was really long. Very good (from what I can remember, haven't read it in a long time), but it dragge don forever and ever. Yule Ball was my favorite part, other than the graveyard of course.

Fifth Book: Despite how much people hate this book, I rather like it. It was alittle slow paced, sure, but it had all my faves in it. Tonk, the actual Mad-eye, Siruis, Lupin. I mean, who else do you need. I think that Cho needed to be excluded from the series entirely, but thats just my personal opinoin. I think this one made me cry the most. I mean, could J.K. have killed off a better character? I'll answer that, no!

Sixth Book: Absolute favorite, No compitetion there. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Don't ask why. I just liked it. Harry got the girl and Ron and Hermione fought the entire time and then the Horcruxes and you find out all this cool stuff about Riddle and his mom. It was just so... interesting!

Seventh Book: Second favorite. This was amazing and really fast passed evn tohught they spend over half the book in that tent. I thought it just added suspense cause they were on the run from the law now! And the Ron/Hermione moment. Aw! Then everybody died! *tears* It was horrible and I cried though the whole book. Didn't really cry the sixth though. Hmmm. Oh! And the Prince's Tale! Aw! Too cute and so sad! My favorite chapter ever. And the whole 'Harry death scene.' OMG!

Alright. I;m gonna shut up now before I spoil everything.

An interesting fact: Harry Potter was the most borrowed library book at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.

Can't believe it took me this long to finally get to the books. I watched all eight of the movies a while ago, though I've had the books forever and never read them because everyone kept telling me too. I finally got to it, though, and as I finish each one, I reward myself by watching the movies again. I'm simply surprised that the movies were so different! Here I was thinking they were pretty similar! I'm currently finishing The Deathly Hollows, and I just have to say, though the movies are amazing, the books will always and forever beat the movies (as is with all movies based on books). <3
