After creating a page for Indiana I suddenly recieved multiple pms and comments asking to make friends, siblings, mates, crushes, and/or future mates for him. Though I'm not looking for him to have a mate this quickly as I want to develop his story more, I am in need of some relations for him. At the same time, a few of my other characters that he's related to need some relations as well. Make sure you specify which character your entry is for. I would prefer them to be already existing and developed characters, but they can be new characters. I basically want characters who will really be used as that's what I'm trying to do with my characters. Other than that, be creative and have fun. C;

What am I looking for?

In this contest I'm looking for well thought out and designed characters. They don't have to be the best ones on the site, but they need to be realistic. You must realize that by affiliating your characters with Indiana and his relatives that you are locking them into a certain year of existence. I will provide the year or time-frame that each character exists during. Questions are welcome, but they are related on Catwhohas14tails' Family Tree.

As you might have guessed, I have decided that some friendships will be between these family members, but I don't want their only friends to be relatives. All of the family members above are included in this contest, but only certain "relations" are needed for each character. (Nearly all of them have mates.) These characters are under a "development" and will have even more detailed bios along with family members listed by name who don't have pages yet. This project (development) along with brand new references for all of them will most likely continue through the summer, but this contest will help.

- one mean crush (for development of Emma and Tye's relationship/This can just be a design and bio you submit for me to keep/would have to be a "relaxed" character to work with me as they would come in after Tye and Emma have children)

Amelia:

- two close "girl" friends

Jude:

- an army "brother" or two (Jude was in the army and one would have a master that flys airplanes/read Jude's bio for more on that)

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but I plan on entering one of the army "brothers" for Jude. I'll get up a complete entry as soon as possible. Also, for the designs... do we have to draw them ourselves? Or can we use a lineart?

It doesn't bother me. C; It can be drawings, renders, or linearts. (Sorry, I should have already posted that.)

Is there still a chance of a crusher becoming a possible mate? If so then I'll enter.

Possibly... I want to develop him with friends, but I'm thinking of having a friend or a crush become his mate. It all depends on the bios and development of the girls around him. If that makes sense... O.o

Nickname: El, Ellie, Els, Beth(hates this), Bethie(hates this too)and Litbit (she only lets closer elders call her this)

Personality: Ellie is a lady, fully and always. She never steps on anyone's paw both with her acutally body or her words.
She is a bit more serious than those around her but can have fun with those close to her. (To know more read bio)

What do they think of Indiana?: She became friends with him at once, and his siblings. Ellsbeth was adopted by a wealthy
family like Indiana. She liked him at once, both being at the full understanding of manners and good behavior. As
they get older she deals with the same amount of attention from oppisite sex as Indiana does, but remains just friends
with him. However, they seem perfect together and like a couple. She secretly loves him, and when people ask if they
are dating and she has to say no, it breaks her heart more and more with each time. She is too afraid to tell him, and
just grins and bears it as she continues to spends countless time with him. She thinks his parents and siblings may
know her secret...

Personality: Out-going, anventures and loves a good time. She isn't afraid to say what she thinks and is always trying to
get her friends to join in on her out landish ideas. She is pretty good at these, but if they end up going wrong they
go really badly wrong. She is kind and caring to her friends, but values honesty, even if it hurts feelings. She
doesn't really have a fliter and can put her paw in her mouth pretty quick.
Relation: friend
What do they think of Indiana?: She enjoys his company and loves to go to his place, since he is far more wealthy. Her
favorite thing about being his friend is to bring him out of his comfort zone and make him get away from all the
manners and stucture at his home. She tolerates his friend Ellsbeth(if accepted) because of him, but she doesn't like
how much more effort it takes her to get Ells to do things with them. So she prefers to get Indiana to herself and
explore with her. However he does well to fade her flame once in a while so she doesn't go running over a cliff
because she wasn't looking.
Other: Could become a crush later but is living life too fast and tom-boyish to swoon over a guy.

I love all of the effort that you have put into this Artemis. <3 I love their personalities and what they think of Indiana. My only critique is a few easily changable details. C;

- Ellsbeth -
Honestly, I LOVE how similar she and Indy are; from being adopted into wealthy homes to getting huge amounts of attention from the opposite gender. The only thing that I'm not sure about is that they are family members and couldn't be crushes... Ellsbeth is the daughter of Roy. Roy is the son of Chester. Chester's younger sister (from the second litter) is Emma. (Indy's adoptive mother.) I know that technically Indy is adopted, but I'm not sure if I want him to be crushes or mates with a family member. (I think that it makes Ellsbeth and Indy second-cousins...? O.o) Other than that, I really love Ellsbeth as a friend for Indiana. C;

- Trout -
Again, like Ellsbeth, I love her personality and it would give a very good twist to Indy's personality. I can quite imagine Trout making Indy flustered. x3 I also see how it would help Trout to have a friend that will help prevent her from getting hurt (at least majorly) and to somewhat bring her to her senses. She's definitely perfect at balancing Ellsbeth's etiquette and manners. I have no critique in particular for Trout, but I am curious to know more about her backstory. C;

In conclusion, I love your entries Artemis. Both of their personalities are different, making them foil off of Indy and vise-versa. What also makes me pleased with the entries is that you're trying to develop your characters the same way that I am. You are more than welcome to edit these entries or submit more, but I appreciate all of the work that you have put into them so far. C;

Yes, I am very please with Trout as she is a new character but I feel I will do a lot with her, and I love the idea of fire-ball girl ruining the pleaceful air of Indy and Els rich family mansions, (for, if accepted, I would think the three and more with Indiana's other friends and the girl's friends, would spend time at Els mansion as well.) Plus, every guy needs that girl that they are nothing alike but still connect with. Which actually thinks she might fit crush well too, but for now I will leave it at friends because I'm sure you will be tons of people trying to make him a crush and I don't want to not have Trout accepted just because she would be a "crush" honestly, friends is just fine. I'm not sure she could settle down with him anyway, she is always on the move lol and that isn't exactly Indiana's style.

As for El, I did think about the family tree, although they would be distant. I must have forgot for some reason though. However, I do feel their could be a way to make it work, with out chaning. Ellsbeth could grow up with these feelings, and feel disgusted by herself, not sure why she can't shake them, knowing family "relationships" are just out of the question, more so for someone like herself, and Indy too. So she grows up with him, feeligns unwillingly growing, until teenhood, where when Indiana finds out he is adopted and lets El know she is overcome with joy of not being related it brings tears to her, something hard to explain to Indiana as it happens, because she is no where near able to tell him her dark secret, not so dark anylonger though. (And of course she, I'm not saying he has to like her back. I just think they fit so welll it would make sense for a crush between them, or at least one on the other lol.)

I very easily see the three getting along with each other. (I can just picture Indy and Ell laying in the living room with Trout running in circles trying to convince them to play a game. x3)

Honestly, I've been thinking about it and it would be interesting for a crush between Indy and Ell. I'm still thinking that it should be one-sided (in this case Ell) but we can see how their stories develop with the other characters around them. C;

Honestly I think that Trout and Ell are perfect entries and I'm officially going to call them winners. Trout as a friend, and Ellsbeth as a friend/crusher. Congradulations. C; (Now I must sketch them. x3)

Breed: Malamute/ Greyhound/ Husky/ Collie/ Labrador Retriever/ Saluki/ Schnauzer/ Blue merle border collie/ Blue heeler/ Stag hound/ Koolie

Born: 1933-1934

Personality: Taba is a worry wart. He likes to be comforted by friends and makes little things seem like a crisis. Many wonder why he is even friends with Tremor then. The two are complete opposites. Taba doesn't much care for gossip because he doesn't want to be think about some poor souls reputation being ruined with fables. Taba vows to always tell the truth. He devotes his time to helping Spook at the graveyard when she needs it. (Usually this is when a new grave is added.) Taba likes to make up stories though, usually tall tales to amuse pups in town. Taba doesn't really trust in others problem solving abilities and butts into their buisness because he just wants to 'help'. Very brotherly to those younger than him. He finds himself having a soft spot for street mutts. Has a lot of manners thanks to his grandmother, Azolla.

Relation: friend/crusher

What do they think of Emma?: He likes how refined and gentle Emma is. She of course is very beautiful to Taba and he is attracted to her, but he cherishes their friendship more than the idea of telling her how he feels. Taba would prefer to sigh at her from afar and keeps his little crush a secret even though almost everyone in town knows of his crush besides Emma. Taba tries to be as helpful as he can to her but sometimes gets a little pushy in his offers. He likes to babysit Indiana when asked. Taba being such a worry wart and a wuss isn't exactly the best role model for young little Indiana. Taba fears that if Indiana picks up any of his cowardly traits Emma would be mad at him.

Other: He tells Emma that he has a crush on Spook, but he tells Spook that he has a crush on Emma. Hopefully the two girls will never meet.

Born: 1935-1936

Personality:Gentle in public but really has a rough addictive personality. Cam is a notorious bully behind his family's back. He is a bad boy with a good control on his temper. He loved teasing others because he wants to hide the embarrassment of him being a mistake. Cam likes to hang around farms and he sends off a real country boy vibe.

Relation: frenemies

What do they think of Indiana?: When Cameroon goes on trips with his brother Taba he is such a nice sweet boy to Indiana and all of his friends. Cam is usually a bit uptight though and he always looks nervous like he wants to go running out the door. Cam and Indiana were really close at a young age and shared secrets and sometimes even shared the same crushes. When Cam's mother died Indiana didn't see much of him. He missed his friend but didn't want to push his boundary with the poor boy. Eventually though they run into each other again both of them well into their teens. Cam is a total jerk to Indiana and doesn't seem to want to like his best friend anymore. They try ignoring each other but old habits die hard and Cam's old self will shine through to Indiana time to time.

Other: He is horribly jealous of Indiana at times. Cam gets into a gang that has some pretty 'bad' dogs in it.

Name: Dewey

Nickname:

Age: Adult

Breed: Australian Shepherd

Born: 1935

Personality:Sweet and is just an angel to everyone. Dewey can get a little wild though, and her master lets her out for long runs at night. Dewey is seen as a little edgy but otherwise she is a dainty girl who avoids most physical labor. Dewey does have some questionable habits around males. Usually flaunts her skinny body through town, and strikes posses for fun.

Relation: Bestest friend always xD

What do they think of Amelia?: She thinks Amelia is a total doll. Wants to chat with her all day but Dewey has to work at some point. She always wants Amelia to aim for the stars and she drags her around for 'girls day'. Dewey is a little needy with Amelia and likes to keep her away from Jude for her own selfish greed at times. Dewey will be super sweet to her though but can do some crazy things like mud wrestling. (Not in a competitive way though Dewey is too fragile for that.) Dewey and Amelia will play around a lot and strike awkward poses with each other just to make themselves laugh.

Other: Though Dewey doesn't see Indiana much and she isn't really that much older than him she does like to rub the fact that she is and wants him to call her his big cousin.

To answer it fully, (I had answered about Indiana.) all of them already have mates (or have planned mates) except for Indiana. (Who's still a child.) Emma and Tye's bios need to be updated but they will be a couple. Agatha and Buckthorn are a couple, and Jude and Amelia are a couple. Sorry if that changes your entry(s)... I just want to make sure now that the answer is clear.

No you were right I meant Indiana for the whole crush becoming a mate thing, but I just entered Taba to be friend but a silent crusher for Emma.
