I highly doubt that Nava has dog genes. He looks full wolf.

So I doesn't mean he's 100% wolf.

Hmm... full wolf equals 100% wolf... Yeah, I think it does.

Nava is from a wolf pack, there is no reason why he would be part dog.

Some wolf may look 100% wolf but may still carry dog genes.

Although I agree, all the 'o's are not necessary.

...this topic's pointless. Balto's HALF wolf. Nava being Balto's father would make him %100 wolf. Which he's not. So Nava's not Balto's father.
It might be possible he's a distant relative or even grandfather, but the way Nava talks about the white wolf,
she seems more like an angel or something like that to him than a dead relative.

Okay Nava could be a 100% wolf but you'll never know.

Wait a minute, Could be? Oh my gosh! Are you serious? He's in a wolf pack! He was probably born in it, and his parents were also full wolf, therefore it MAKES him full wolf. There is no 'he could be a 100%' about it.

You don't know the official answer just because he's leading a pack, something you may not expect is maybe going to pop out and I'm not saying he's not a wolf but the most people chosen him as a wolf because of obvious reasons.

^That's a perfect example for what I mean, I'm think I'm full Chinese but I'll never know if I am 100% Chinese I might be some mix with other race too.

I'm with Brown on this one. He doesn't look like he is mixed, nor do the rest of the wolves. Your correct, we don't know for official, but saying he could have some breed of dog in him doesn't sound right. The only pack member who could have messed up that balance is Aleu.

If you watch Balto 2, Balto says "my dad was a husky who had pups with a wolf."

So if Nava was Balto's dad, then that would make Nava a husky. Not a mix.

Another thing, I doubt that Balto is even related to this pack at all. Nava was having dream visions with Aniu, looking for a leader. "The one who is wolf but does not know."

No, it`s impossible. Of course, Nava looks a lot like Balto, but we all know that Balto is a part dog. His father was a husky, but Nava is a wolf.

Sheesh! I don't know why everyone is making a big deal about this. Balto said his mother was a wolf and his dad was a husky so obviously Nava is NOT Balto's father! The proof is in the pudding! (But as usual some people refuse to look at the facts and decided to stick to their own conclusions) As for whether Nava has dog genes or not, there's nothing that confirms nor denies it, so that is supposed to be an instance where we should let everyone think what they want to think! That's one of the beauties of animated movies!

This question is rediculious. No, Nava is NOT Balto's Father,, and there are a lot of facts to note this fact
