Is Bess a good match for our little Itchiford?

After all of things that Itchy has been through, why not have a girlfriend ? Bess felt like Sahsa to me, but with Bess she always had others keep in mind of everything they did if they be good or bad acts.

I will have to agree, Itchy always seems to be down on his luck and it is about time that somebody loves him for who he is not just as a friend. Even though Charlie is his best friend it is more of a "I love you like a brother" not an I love you because you are you (that would be weird). For Sasha just likes Itchy but doesn't love him.

Awkward and funny, she basically completes him so I can't think of anyone else who'd make a good match for him.

Eh, like many characters, Charlie for instance, I don't think Itchy needs a girlfriend. All he needed was a companion of some kind.

He didn't need no girl to boost his confidence xD He was plenty confident in himself, his lack of confidence lay in Charlie in the first movie.

He was bold enough to bust Charlie out of death row for crying out loud xD If that doesn't require the upmost self-confidence, nothing does. He had the confidence to help run a business, growl at a little girl, retort to comments to his best and obviously more dominant friend. C'mon people, Itchy is no chump. He may itch when he's nervous, he has reason to be, a friggen mafia's after him and his friend, but he's certainly not unsure of himself.

Besides, someone does love him, Anne-Marie, remember? Haha. Besides, since Anne-Marie hoped to adopt Flo and the puppies, I think Itchy and Flo would eventually get together if they were feeling particular lonely haha. I love opposites couples xDD

Also Bess was a purebred right? What the heck breed was she??? She's an impostor, if you ask me.

Seriously,cat? First Sasha,now Bess? You,kinda need to lighten up

Bess is a Cocker Spaniel and a good friend for Itchy, in the series he got himself sent to the hospital trying to protect her,and Flo and him would be awkward,seeing as they already made him and Bess one.

Bess,is no imposter,she was kind to itchy and incouraged him to be himslef in "Bess and Itchy's Dogschool Reunion" I recall.

Did he need a girlfriend? Not necessarily. cat at least has that much right. Is it good for him to have a girlfriend? I think so. On more than one occasion, she's been able to bring out sides of Itchy that would have stayed hidden on their own.

Personally, I enjoyed Bess' part in the series, as small as it was.

Well, its not that I'm bashing the characters themselves over the fact that Itchy and Charlie were both males who.. really didn't need a love interest to make them interesting or stronger. Its very rare for a character to /not need/ a love interest, and if they don't need it, then I'd like to see them without one.

That also happened to Kenai in Brother Bear. His purpose was to be a guardian to Koda, he didn't need a love interest. Buuut they gave him one anyway.



A good friend, sure. But a love interest to boost his confidence? Eh. And IIIIII don't think she's a cocker spaniel xDD

Yea, its awkward, which is exactly why its amazing I just mean, since Anne Marie really wanted to adopt Flo and the pups (how could Kate and Harold say no? x3), and she already had Itchy. I just mean the two could find some sort of comfort in each other since their dear friend Charlie is gone.

I doubt it. If anything, she wanted to appear more down-to-earth. Note her voiced embarrassment about her wall of fame.

And her getting a bit upset when Itchy tried to be someone he wasn't in that "Dogschool Reunion" episode.

I was never that interested in Bess either.. she just seemed like a mini-Sasha too me..:S

I always thought itchy and Flo got together after Charlie died ( after the end of the first movie ) since they were both so close to him..


yeah, I hated they turned Brother Bear into "Lover Bear 2" in the sequel.. I'd rather have Koda's Dad show up rather Kenai's old flame there.. (even the moose got mates )


and don't get me started on the Emperor's new groove series or Hunchback II

Not really. I mean for one thing, Sasha really comes down on Charlie in almost every episode. She's always playing with his head, and half the time she seems to be playing whack-a-mole, if you get my drift. Bess has only even raised her voice to Itchy once.
