Moto padded down Priderock with Asali. "The pride sure has gotten bigger, hasn't it," he said, glancing over his shoulder as they left Priderock. "A lot of cubs. Plenty for what lays ahead," he added. As he padded next to Asali, he cast a small glance at the gray lioness, then forced his gaze away. His tail flicked behind him as the headed towards the border to remark it.

Asail nodded in agreement "their lucky when I their age their weren't any cubs for me to play with." Thinking about her birth pride and everything they had forced her and her mother to go through brought a boiling anger to the surface though she tried not to let it show

"Ot was the same for me. Life as a rogue is tough. I'm glad I found the pride," I responded. Then, I looked over at her. "So, is this your first time markings the borders?" I asked curiously. "I'll show you how to, if you want," I added.

Asail shook her a warm smile crossing her muzzle "no it's alright I've done this before" she looked up at the sky noticing that the sun was starting to set

Moto noticed the sun as well. "Good. Now, we can get through this quicker without hopefully too many interruptions," he responded, his tail swishing lazily behind him as he walked. They soon arrived at the first border, and he gave it a sniff. "I don't smell too much of anything. Mark the border so we can move on," he instructed, padding along the line.

Asail nodded and started getting to work as she finished she looked around noticing that some of the animals and their young were trying to find some place safe to rest for the night "I hope we're lucky tonight" she thought just as moto returned

"If by lucky, you mean no problems, then the same for me," Moto responded. He and Asali continued along the border, marking and checking for any fresh scents. "It's become really crowded at Priderock, don't you think?" he asked, padding next to the scent line. "We'll need some more territory in order to feed so many lions," he added. His tail swished behind him as he walked alongside Asali.

"I don't really mind it the lioness are kind to me and the little ones are so well behaved .. well at least with me" asali said she had to admit it was nice getting out for a while

"Yeah. I think we're both lucky to have been welcomed in this pride," he added. He stopped for a moment to mark the border, then he headed along. He gave a contented sigh. "Our life here is perfect, don't you agree?" he asked, looking over to Asali.

Asali nodded in agreement "it is actually much better than my birth pride" once again asali felt her anger and hatred towards her former pride but to not let it show

"What happened in your old pride?" he asked curiously. "You keep mentioning it, but you haven't really told us about it," he added. He glanced at her as he walked, his tail swaying slowly to his walking pace.
