Moto's eyes widened when she licked his cheek, and as he watched her leave, he lifted a paw to touch the place she had licked. He was mesmerized. He hadn't really been in contact with a lot of lionesses, especially not like that. It made him feel.......different. Like a good different. He pulled a small smile himself, then rose to his paws, and padded slowly to Priderock.

Asail hummed happily to herself as she walked up the rocks to were the lionesses met before the evening hunt the song she was humming was an old song her mother would sing to help her sleep however when she finally arrived nobody was there "that's odd" asail thought

Once Moto returned, he glanced around Priderock. He saw the cubs playing, and gave a small smile. A flash of Asali appeared in his mind, and felt confusion. Why would the lioness show up in his thoughts when he looked at the cubs. He decided to shrug it off, then padded over to the cave entrance. he sat down beside it, curling his tail neatly over his paws. He was on guard, once again.

Asali sighed , she had heard from one of the babysitters that the huntresses had already left for the hunt "well at least I have the night to myself" asali thought happily she looked up when she noticed moto walking towards the entrance of the cave , smiling she trotted up to him "well hello again" she said in a friendly tone

Moto looked over at the voice, then gave a small smile. "And hello to you as well," he responded, giving a small nod of respect. "May I help you?" he asked, pricking his ears. He was rather curious as to why she was speaking to him. Sure, he knew lions normally liked to talk to eachother in a friendly manner, especially in this pride, but most of them stuck to their groups. He was called upon more often than not just for a border patrol or something, so he wasn't too used to 'normal' conversations.

"Do I need a reason ? I just wanted to talk to you" asali said lying on her side she was rather surprise to say the least she titled her head to the side as if in thought before getting up "come on , I have the night off from the hunt and I want to show you something"

He cocked an eyebrow at her, but slowly rose from his post. "I suppose they could do without me for a little bit," he said. He began to follow her slowly, his tail swishing from side to side. "I didn't mean to be rude when I said that. Most don't really like to....chit chat with me," he added hesitantly. He wanted her to know he wasn't trying to be mean or anything.

Asali nodded her head in understanding looking back at him and smiling at him warmly "it's because I like you silly " she trotted beside humming once again "it's a lovely night isn't it"

Moto gave her a weird look, but followed anyways. "It is, indeed," he responded. His head rose so he could gaze at the night sky, full of stars. He breathed a nice little sigh of relaxation as he padded alongside her.

Asali smiled a little "when I was young my mother would take me out to stargaze I remember there was this game we would play to see who could point out the most consultations" she sighed sadly as memories of her mother came back to her "did I ever tell my mother and aunts were born here ?"

"That sounds very nice," he said. He then looked from the stars above back to her. "In fact, I didn't," he added, sort of curious as to why her mother and aunt weren't here now. Perhaps they'd left.

Asali looked over at him a small half smile finding it's way over her face "yes actually then were raised here as well my mother and aunts left the pride lands to start their own lives" suddenly a playful smile came over her muzzle "how about we play a game ? Tag ! Your it !" She said laughing as she ran off

Moto stood frozen in place, confusion in his eyes. "Aren't we too old for that?" he asked, cocking an eyebrow and tilting his head slightly to the left. He then padded slowly after her, still rather confused. After all, it seemed only cubs played this game and well.....he wasn't a cub, so this seemed rather foolish.

Asail tilted her head to the side confused for a moment "you know you don't have to be a cub to play games" she smiled again rolling her eyes a bit "well come on then I'm going to show you how to have fun"
