Moto gave a grunt, keeping his eyes away from her. "I'm fine," he replied, his voice cracking slightly in the middle, and he internally winced at it. he tried to regain his composure, holding his head a bit higher. "Come on, we should head back now," he added, changing the subject as he rose from his place.

Asali nodded in agreement the moon was beginning to go down and she knew the other huntresses would be on their way home from the hunt by now and she didn't want any of them to worry

Moto began walking back without a single word as he did. He shouldn't have stayed out as late as he did, especially with one of the huntresses. After all, they needed to be fit and ready to go whenever needed. How could he keep one out all night when she might be too tired to hunt? As his brain wracked all this up, he looked at his paws as he walked on towards the great mass known as Priderock.

Asali looked at moto in concern he was looking at his paws and she was rather worried "moto are you alright ? If you want to talk you can talk to me" she said

"Hm? Oh, uh, n-no, I'm fine," he replied, looking out towards Priderock. His voice became cold, though he didn't mean it to. He was still pretty upset that he had kept one of the most important members of Priderock out all night. She should be sleeping, getting ready for the hunt the next day rather than gallavanting off. He mentally scolded himself as they headed back home.

Asali stepped in front of him her head titled to the side "I may be naive but I know when people are lying to me , just tell me what's wrong !" She begged

His eyes widened as he stopped for a minute, then they narrowed. He moved past her swiftly, his voice curt. "I said I'm fine," he said, growling slightly. He spotted a figure on the tip of Priderock in the distance, and tried to focus on her rather than Asali.

Asali looked at him a hurt look on her face though she tried to not let show in voice as she spoke "if it makes a difference thanks for coming out with me tonight" she said licking moto's cheek in thanks before heading off to her own den

Moto glared at her as she left. He raised a paw to his cheek and wiped it, making a disgusted face. His face felt hot in embarrassment, as he headed back to his cave. He was never one for physical contact, seeing as living as a rouge, he had been taught since birth to keep away from others, so this all confused and bewildered him. He lay down in his cave, crossing his paws and laying his head on them. Shaking it off, he closed his eyes for sleep.

Asali sighed as she entered her cave she hadn't ment to make him mad at her and she was genuinely upset "I'll just have to try harder !" She said to herself as she laid down

As the morning began, Moto walked outside into the sunshine, closing his eyes as a slight breeze ruffled his mane. When he opened his green eyes, he saw a brown male by the pride opening. He thought back and put the name Kani to the face. He gave a small smile as he padded down towards the main cave. "Good morning," he greeted, flicking his tail.
