Moto looked down at his paws, thinking for a second. "I don't know if we have time for fun," he said, beginning to pad after her again. "After all, we have responsibilities now. We don't have time to think about fun," he added firmly. In fact, he didn't really know too much baout fun. He'd seen other cubs play around, but never had the time while he was traveling.

Asail stopped for a moment her eyes wide as she turned her head to look at him "you know just because we're adults doesn't mean we don't have to stop acting like a cub" itwas a saying her aunt would always say and she taken to heart , she smiled slightly a warm and fond smile

"Asali! Be careful!" he called as the lioness went on ahead of him. With a sigh, he followed behind even slower. He wasn't going to participate in this 'fun', but he'd still make sure Asali stayed safe and out of trouble. After all, pridemates had to look out for one another.

Asali rolled her eyes jumping up on to a log and walking across it "you don't have to be so grumpy just let go and have fun for once !" Lifting herself up on to her back legs she wrapped her front paws around his neck not noticing the steep hill behind them causing them to roll down it

"Hey, what the-" he began before they fell. "Ow! Agh!" he exclaimed as they rolled around. Once they made it to the bottom, he found himself almost pinning her. "What did you think you were doing?" he asked sternly. "We both could've been seriously hurt," he added, trying to ignore the fact that she was pressed up against him.

Asali laughed pawing at his nose "it's called "having fun" you should try it" she giggled wrapping her paws around his neck again and bringing his head down so she could lick his cheek

His eyes widened as he froze in shock for a moment, replying the lick on the cheek she just gave him. He stayed silent, confused at this new emotion sprouting in his heart like the first flowers of the rainy season. He'd never felt this before, and it startled him to no end. However, it felt.....good, all the same.

Asali tilted her head slightly "um... you can get off me now" she was trying very hard not to laugh again but she couldn't help it and she giggled slightly

"Oh, r-right," he stuttered, quickly getting up. He cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. He quickly got rig of a couple of leaves and twigs that had gotten caught in his pelt with a front paw before fully shaking out his mane. He attempted to get rid of this fluttering feeling in his stomach, and was soon trying his best to ignore it. "Alright, you've had your 'fun'. Can we go home now?" he asked, flicking his tail as he was quite annoyed.

Asali sighed slightly "alright fine mr.grumpy pants have her your way" she stood up then and began trotting towards pride rock before stopping and looking back at him "well... aren't you coming ?"

He didn't realize he hadn't moved until she said that, then quickly padded after her. "O-of course," he replied, trying to hide his light blush as he took the lead back to Priderock and home. He held his head high, but on the inside, he was still confused. Why had she licked him? Why did she insist on spending time with him? After all, he figured the lionesses were more happy in the company of one another and cubs. Not typically him.

"Thank you by the way , for coming with me" asali said smiling fondly "it gets rather boring hanging out with the sisters all the time so this was nice" she began humming softly to herself

"Of course," he replied firmly, his voice even and his flustered thoughts gone. "After all, with my job, I'm used to watching out for others. Especially ones who like to go out alone and goof off," he added, flicking his tail at her good-naturedly.

Asali laughed slightly nuzzling into his side "your not as bad as the sisters say" she said purring as she nuzzled into his mane

Moto froze up again, his ears flattening in embarrassment. "Oh? W-What do your s-sisters have to say about me?" he stuttered, moving ever so slightly away from her touch. He wasn't trying to be rude at the moment, but he just didn't feel very comfortable with her being so close with him.
