"I'm just glad an old friend still lives." Kai grinned and gently tugged his little brother's ear. Meike smiled. "You did...there were plenty of times Cain could've hurt her. And you protected her." she smiled at her friend. "You're a good father, Steele."

Her eyes watered in happiness. Standing up, she nuzzled the tigress softly, tears falling down her face. Kai laughed and pulled his nose away. He began to tickle his little brother. Meike smiled, her face full of joy and light.

Cachen started tickling him back, laughing. "I just wish I'd not chased Sable off...that was one of my worst mistakes." said Steele. "She'd have been a good mother for Goldie."

"You two are destined for one another." said Meike, grinning. "No matter what, soul mates always love each other. Just like Goldie and Cachen...They're meant to be together for the rest of their lives." she turned to Steele. "Just like you and Sable."
