In addition to the other topic about the video game + Gift of the Night Fury, this topic is about the DreamWorks Short (couldn't they have called it a DWM? Instead of making themselves look like Pixar...) called 'Legend of the Bonenapper Dragon" and the 2012 Carton Network series. I watched this earlier, it's a pretty good short that lasted about 15 minutes and featured all the main characters. I won't go into the details but you can find out more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_ ... per_DragonAnd (since this hasn't been brought to ones attention here), Cartoon Network will be hosting the HTTYD series from 2012. The producer (Tim Johnson) said it will be dark and deep like the film. So, have you seen the short? What do you think of it and of course the CN TV show?

On Wikipedia it says that the series will be called ''Dragons'' and will be showing in Fall 2012. It also says that Baruchel will return for the series.

I would be really excited for the series if it weren't for the fact that I have a nagging feeling Cartoon Network will ruin How to Train Your Dragon... For some reason, any time a really great movie is made into a show, it tends to mess up the novelty of the actual show. I guess it's exciting nonetheless, but with two new movies on the way, I wonder how the series and the new movies will coincide with each other...

I watched "Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon" and quite enjoyed it. However, my favourite short film sequel is still "Gift of the Night Fury". Also, I'm SUPER excited for the TV series! HTTYD has become one of my favourite movies and the short films are great, so I'm hoping the series will be just as good. Also the full-length movie sequels are also sparking my interest! I pretty much can't wait!

I had watched both Book of Dragons and Legend of the Boneknapper on Netflix yesterday and needless to say I enjoyed then both. (: I'm still yet to watch Gift of the Night Fury, but that's also available on Netflix so I should easily be able to see it soon.
