Essence jumped when she heard Zira's voice, hunkering into the tall grass. She feared that the outlander would kidnap her again but then again, she was kind of happy to know that her other 'mother' was actually alive. Despite all the rumors that she was dead. Essence began to lift herself slowly out of the grass again and face Zira's direction, wondering if Vitani or Kovu were with her. The slithering and venomous voice was all too familiar with Essence, causing her to flinch. As her little green eyes turned to Zira she straightened up, taking more pride in her posture. "Hello mot-" She cleared her throat. "Miss Zira." She said, almost calling her mother again for some reason. Deep down in Essence's heart she felt a bit scared for being so close to her 'aqquantince' not trusting her ever since she found out that Zira had been the one who kidnapped her from her now dead mother.

Essence simply watched her then looked at her brother. The little cub was slightly confused at why Zira was even here, though she didn't question why. The young lioness just watched Zira, making sure not to turn her back on the outland queen. When Essence felt safe and trusting she turned her back to Zira and began to walk away slowly, unsure of the events of today.

Essence I know what you are wondering Zira she killed my son forbidding her from coming into my fathers kingdom ever again so if you see her please tell me nala or mom

Essence nodded, finally understanding now. A son? She thought curiously, looking up at her older brother. That means I would've had a nephew! She said, sad and happy at the thought. She could tell her brother was saddened at the thought so she put on a smile for him and give him a hug, wrapping her tiny paws into his thick red mane. Simba was so warm.
