I'm going with the lion king, yes I like Balto but lion king was simply amazing. All the characters where so well thought of and you don't see many lion movies around that have such a strong meaning. Balto was a good movie to but I never cried during Balto, but I have to admit that I did cry a little when Mufasa was killed. Beautiful movie.

Balto was good, very good, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But The Lion King is one of the five best animated films ever made, and while Balto is certainly top 20, it's not top five.
Thus, Lion King all the way.

Well, it's a paradox. Balto is a better movie. But, LK has ALOT of meaning. One thing I do not like about LK is that the mood shifts rapidly. In Balto, they do give you a few more minutes to recollect yourself. Like, when Simba saw Rafiki near the end, it was funny, intense, and also sad at the same time. There was a mass confusion to what I was supposed to feel at the moment. With Balto, it is different.
