Okay, so I know I left out the plot, but for a reason. It is so important, it deserved to be by itself. ^^
Plot:There are six kids, Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman, and Angel. They were created by evil 'scientests' they call whitecoats. They were created not all human. They are 2% bird, 98% human. They escaped from the lab where they were created, living for 4 years in hiding. They were found again, and went on the run, having multiple adventures that make the book thrilling and exciting.
So, yes, it is not very detailed, but it will give you the main idea. If I gave you any more information, then it would ruin the book. Atleast for those of you who want to read it.
I'm going to post the Prologue here, but as a spoiler, in case you don't want it spoiled.

Congratulations. The fact that you're reading this means you've taken one giant step closer to surviving till your next birthday. Yes, you, standing there leafing through thes pages. Do not put this book down. I'm dead serious, our life could depend on it.
This story is about me, and my family. But it could just as well be your story too. We're all in this together, trust me on that.
Okay, so I've never done anything like this before, so I'm just going to jump in, and you try and keep up. I'm Max, I'm 14. I live with my family, who are five kids not related to me by blood, but still totally my family anyways.
We're - well, we're kind of amazing. Not to sound to full of myself or anything, but we're like nothing you've ever seen before. Basically, we're pretty cool, nice smart - but not "average" in any other way.
There are six of us. Me, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, tha Gasman, and Angel. We were created by the sickest, most horrible "scientists" you could possible imagine. They created us as an experiment, and experiment where we ended up only 98% human. The other 2% has a big impact, let me tell ya'.
We grew up in a science lab/prison called the School, in cages, like lab rats. It's pretty amazing we can think or speak at all. But we can, and so much more.
There was another School experiment that made it past infancy. Part-human, part-wolf, all predator. They're called Erasers. Tough, smart, and hard to control. They look human, but when they want to, they're capable of morphing into full wolf-men, complete with fur, dangs, and claws. The School used them as guards, police, - and executioners.
To them, we're moving targets, prey smart enough to be a fun challenge. Basically, they want to rip our throats out. And make sure the world never finds out about us.
But I'm not lying down just yet. I'm, telling you, right? This story could be about you - or your children. If not today, then soon. So please, please take this seriously. I'm risking everything by telling you, but you need to know.

Welcome to our nightmare.
Gotta go with Fang and Iggy as my favorite characters. If they screw up the movie, I just might go insane. It was supposed to come out this year, but whattayaknow, it's coming in 2013. In the trailer, Max's wings are black, and the Erasers fly already, so I don't exactly have high hopes.
