However, I also know they don't specialize in fiction (maybe realistic fiction), but they carry historical fiction, and things of the like. And I was given their name by someone who publishes an annual writing guide, after I asked her if she knew of any companies that would be looking for the kind of book I wanted to publish. As for historical fiction, good. I plan to write some of that genre as well.

Iv never heard about that site before, if I ever wanted something published and in stores right a way I get my grandmother to do it she has to many connections or publish's it herself so iv never needed to do the leg work finding popular publishers, sorry im not much help, but best of luck im sure you will do great in the writen world, I have faith in you just don't give up^^

An unfortunate update: I was browsing the company's website recently and it turns out the cost of publication is way outside my price range until I can find regular work. So the publication, or at least any effort to do it through Aaron Book Publishing, is on hold.

It's not many, but you may want to take a look anyway. The last one, Xlibris.com, has the most affordable programs at $499, but the distribution is included with that.

At long last, an update.

Publication efforts for the dragon book is temporarily on hold. I chose a different route to get into the publishing world with, I hope, a little less difficulty. It happens that I know the semi-famous author of several children's books which I used to read when I was a kid. I've sent her the manuscript for a short Christmas story titled "Rudolph and the Spirit of Christmas," and she wrote back saying she likes it very much. Once it's had some edits, she thinks it will make a very good book. It's not quite the same caliber as my major products, but it will serve to get my foot in the door.

Sorry for keeping everyone waiting for an update. As it stands right now, I've decided to see that my story is registered with a copyright office before I show it to any prospective publishers or in-betweens (i.e. people I know who have published works of their own and could recommend my material to their publishers). Not that I have doubts, but it's better to be sure in this day and age.

I hope posting on a topic this old isn't against the rules, but Skullblaka Shur'tugal asked for an update.

I have a couple of potential leads, but as it stands right now my first publication will be a short children's book about the Garden of Eden. I have a potential publisher in mind, even a specific editor I've spoken to. I intend to print out the book as soon as I've made a few adjustments and get the ball rolling, hopefully, by the end of the month. Once I have established myself as a published author, more diverse and dramatic works will follow, including the Haven Chronicles about which I've been stringing readers along since high school.

As for the requests I've gotten for copies, I'm not sure what the publishers will want to do in that regard. However, if anyone asks on here I will take such steps as I can to get them a copy.
