Preview of 'Is It War?'

Just a preview of a Fan Fic I'm working on.

   She turned hastingly around when she planted herself in the middle of the river, and fixed her eyes on the bear in front of her. Not surprisingly, this bear was not familiar with her. It seemed to her that she had never seen this bear at all in her life. The bear was a male, probably a few years older than Cairistiona herself. It had a nice size, but she could tell that he seemed tired. His posture was slouched, and he leaned ever so slightly to his right side. His eye's were bright though, as he met Cair's gaze with his own.

"..Are you,'' he stammered, ''Are you Mahelle's daughter?''

   Caught off guard, the only thing Cairistiona could do was stare, her eyes wide. What an odd thing to say! She thought. She squared her shoulders, and opened her mouth to speak-..but was cut short when the peculiar male interrupted her.

   "Oh, dear me. I should have known! You resemble him, slightly, after all. Your mother even more so.'' The male fixed her with a smile, which would have made Cairistiona flinch, if she hadn't had been shivering so much.

   The bears smile transfixed into a frown. "Oh, you're shivering. Sorry I frightened you.'' There was a moment's pause, which Cairistiona used to step out of the water. She regarded him with caution. ''..Excuse me,'' she began. ''But, who are you?''

   The bear sat down, "Dasha. I don't know if you've heard my name ever before. I must say that I'm not all that popular in your fathers' clan.'' Dasha gave a slight chuckle, ''At least not in a good way.'' Cairistiona arched an eyebrow. "Huh..How come?'' Dasha shuffled his paws uneasily. ''I'm a bit surprised you don't know. I'm your uncle, after all.''

What ever happened to Inferno? She sort of disappeared.

well looking at her profile it seems she wont be coming back. so that means we will never get to read this epic fan fic she was doing. that really sucks.

Theres been an Inferno sighting here lately. I wonder if she ever got around to adding more to her fan fic.
