I am craving a roleplay, but I have been so out of the loop of BS, that I don't know who is still around and who does roleplay.
I'll give an example, just so you all know what you're dealing with xD
I prefer long-termed, advanced roleplays.

Example (it's from an old roleplay from 2010... but my microsoft won't open to get newer examples & I'm being lazy to find a new one):

The wind whistled, a soft sound, as snow lightly fell. It was the first day of a new month. The woman thought it’d be wondrous. But each new day, just meant it was harder to survive. . .

“Jason! Jason!” She screamed into her phone, praying for a sign that a zombie hadn’t taken her little brother and sister. One way or another, the three had somehow split in the frenzy. Tears rolled down her pale face, as she dropped her phone on the ground, and bunched her fingers in her hair. Her eyes shut as a whimper escaped her tightly shut lips.

Her eyes flickered open, the light reflecting on her light blue eyes. She looked at the faces around her, also stuck in the cellar with her. She couldn’t imagine how they felt, when she couldn’t even begin to explain how she felt. Amariah wondered, should she speak to them? She debated it, while she chewed on the ends of her long black hair

She scanned the area, the scent of human blood strong. She felt her fangs pop from her gums, as she bit her lip, trying to stop herself from leaping out and just taking a human there. She looked down at her wardrobe. On her slim body was a plaid shirt, with a plaid jacket over it, and a pair of black jeans. She kicked her feet up, staring at her black flip flops. Being a vampire had its ups and downs. One up was she couldn’t feel the wind much anymore, living for so long, she just got numb to the pain.

She felt the eyes of a particular woman, but she ignored the glance, and looked around, trying to find the one she was most interested in. Lord Caine Locksley. She needed to know where he was, so she could somehow be comforted while she was around all this human blood. It was beginning to drive her mind insane.

Once she spotted him, she jumped up to her feet and ran over to him. She glared at the human beside him, and scooted to sit next to him. She leaned against the wall, wishing the zombie attack would end, so she could get out of there and be left alone. Alone with Lord Caine Locksley. A smile spread on her face at the thought. Alone with him.

I'm interested, but could you define long term? A couple weeks, a month? Indefinite? What about pace? I may only be able to write one or two posts per day.

Completely up to you. I'd like at least a month, so we can get things going and somewhat develop the story. And that's fine with pace. Same here. I can't be on all day, every day. I work 6-7 days and don't get online too much with kids to watch. But I do get on at least once a day, so I can do a post or two. May I ask what timezone you are?

I normally get on between 7-10:00pm. I also have time around 9:00am for a quick check. However, that schedule will change next Wednesday. I'll be driving all day to see my folks for Christmas. We usually stay pretty busy, so my visits may get a little random. Fortunately, I have a smartphone, so I'll be able to check and respond with reasonable frequency.

That sounds fine with me c: I understand the holidays xD and plus I work two jobs, so yeah. But if you're down, I'd love to start discussing plots and ideas and such c:

I would like the story to stick close to the canon characters. It doesn't need to be about them, but I would like to make sure anything that happens involves them somehow.

Among the simpler ideas I had were a story centered around Balto and a sled team, and at risk of being cliche, perhaps a story that follows Aleu's pack.

One idea that keeps bouncing around in my head is a redemption story for Steele. As a role-play, I think it would be fun and difficult at the same time.

What kind of ideas did you have?

Only idea I can come up with is maybe have like Aleu take over the pack (after the second movie) and maybe she decides she can't do it anymore and has to figure it out. I had started a story about it but ended up losing it lol.

It seems you like the Steele idea, and I'm pretty eager to do that one as well. We should probably work on a plot line.

I'm not really into the whole "Steele was banished from the town" idea that has been floating around for years.

I favor the idea the that he simply lost all his friends and credibility, and following that, his motivation. Being a champion sled-dog, he would have kept his position until his musher saw that he wasn't winning anymore, which would prompt him to replace Steele. In real life, former lead dogs suffer a deep depression after being replaced. I think that would be a good place to start.

Somewhere along the line, Steele should have a chance (or several) to put others before his career. That would rebuild his reputation, and maybe his confidence. By the end, it would be nice if (here comes the cliche) he makes his peace with Balto.

What kind of things would you want to happen? You wanted a long RP, so fire away!

This idea seems like it could work! We could even toss in our own oc's and stuff if you'd like.

I don't think it sounds cliche. I mean, I always believe in trying to make peace so why not with dogs? c:

I would like to take Steele (unless you would rather take him), Nikki, Boris, Doc, and the musher, plus any OCs I add. I think it would be a good idea to turn a few of them into NPCs, just to make things easier.

Concerning Arcticwolf56, I'll read through some of her previous posts to see how she writes. I'll PM you with my conclusion. If we let Arcticwolf56 join, we can give a few of the characters to her.
