"Well, I hope that's not a problem." Angel looked at Spinx with an half-playful half-evil smile.
"What is your problem with me, Spinx?" She asked.

"You're a lesser-"
"Nothing," Atlas interrupted as he clamped a clawed paw on Spinx's mouth. "There's no problem with Angel, now is there?" The red Nightfury looked at Spinx with the best "you'd better say no" face he could manage without making his friend angry.
The blue Nightfury forcefully shoved Atlas' paw away and, looking at Angel, lowly replied, "There's no problem."
With that, Spinx spread his wings and took to the skies.

"Yes there is." Angle said quickly.

Of course, Spinx ignored her and headed off to...wherever he was going.
Atlas stayed on the ground and watched the older dragon fly off. Heaving a sigh, he turned back to Angel. "Yeah, there is a problem," he admitted. "Spinx doesn't,er...he doesn't really like other dragons besides Nightfury. He calls them "lesser species" and think that they're worthless." A sudden look crossed his face and Atlas' eyes went wide. "N-not that you're worthless, Angel, because you're not!"

"Oh, I know. I mean, look at me, all... this is not worthless! He can think whatever the Thor he wants, all I need is you!" She rubbed her snout against Atlas, purring.

The action left words caught in Atlas' throat and he thumped his tail on the ground idly as Angel brushed her snout against his side. After a few seconds, Atlas cleared his throat and gently rested his head on top of Angel's, a small smile on his face.

Spinx finally came to land on the coast of the island Berk was located. The Nightfury immediately started to trek through the dense trees toward his temporary home was: a cave in the side of a mountain. He really didn't like the place, but it provided him with shelter and safty from the humans if the island and other dragons.

Angel purred more, and slowly moved her head up to the point where it was touching Atlas's mouth. She was ready to make her move.

The red dragon pulled his ear flaps back slightly. He getting that feeling again...the same one he had with an old friend...
Atlas pulled back from Angel, a sad look in his eyes. Now his flaps were completely pinned down to his head. The dragon walked off a few feet and sat on the ground with a loud thump. He hung his head slightly as the memories rushed back. All he could see now was her face.

"What's wrong Atlas? Why did you pull away?" Angel walked over, wondering.

AS his ear flaps lifted a few inches from his skull, Atlas turned to face Angel. He shook his head before stating, "N...nothing. Really."

"Well, if there is something, just tell me..." At that she left for her tree, wondering what in Loki's name was wrong with Atlas.

Meanwhile....

Mya, also Angel's owner, was busy looking for other Deadly Nadders, and she just so happened to be walking by when Angel flew off. She saw Atlas. She walked behind the red and black dragon...

Atlas watched her go and heaved a sigh. "There's no way in Hades I can tell her," he thought aloud to himself. Atlas thought about taking off to his own cliff-side home, but the adult Nightfury stayed put. The face of his friend kept poping into his mind, replaying their last few moments together over and over again. Atlas let out a small whimper and lied on the ground. He covered his head with his paws before muttering, "I wish you were here, Clover."
Though Atlas wasn't completely out of it just yet, he didn't even sense the two-legger approaching beind him...

Spinx landed on the coast that was loacated on the other side of the island, away from Berk. The Nightfury quickly darted down the island's rocky, enclined slide and stood on a large rock a few feet out to sea. He stared intensly at the foamy water with the only eye he had, looking for any signs of fish touching the water's surface. Realizing that this would take a while, like it mostly did, Spinx sat on his hunches but never took his eyes off the water.

Off in the woods around Berk, Emberang finally landed in his nest with his stolen meal. Without hesitation, the Heatface greedily wolfed the large fish down, swollowing it whole. Ember flicked his snake-like tongue over his maw and sniffed around for any pieces of fish that he may have dropped. Finding none, the red-scalled creature growled in annoyance.
This was the first meal he had within a week; during that time he had been captured by Vikings on Cobblestone Island and they tried to "demostocate" him, like the Vikings of Berk had done with their dragons, but Emberfang wasn't going down without a fight. A few days ago he had broken out of the cage the humans kept him in and escaped back to his home. On the way to his nest, he had stolen a fisherman's catch though he was weak and laking nutrition.

Mya looked at the night fury with curiosity. I wonder if he has an owner yet... She leaned in to touch him, but he squirmed uncomfortably. She pulled her hand back, and leaned in again for another try.

What Spinx didn't know, was that Angel had been following far behind him - She had went to her tree, but then decided to follow him to see what he was up to. She saw him sitting on a cliff, staring at the water.

Atlas' blunt nose scrunched up as a cool gust of sea-wind blew from behind him. He caught the scent of a human, and it was really close to him!
Atlas rose to a standing position and whirled around to come face-to-face with Mya. He didn't move, too shocked with the sudden appreaence of the human.

Finally Spinx saw his chance and the large creature quickly dipped his head into the water. A few seconds later he resurfaced with a small, silver-blue fish in his maw and wolfed it down.

Mya pulled back her hand. Her heart stopped immedielty. All the blood sunk from her face. "H-hi..."

Angel gulped. I hope he doesn't do that to me... "Hey! Spinx!"
