She's so small and weak-looking Atlas mused to himself, still not looking away from Mya. She can't hurt me even if she tried.
He then decided to ignore Mya, hoping she'd eventually go away if he kept his back to her.

Spinx snorted hearing Angel's voice. Reluctantly, the Nightfury raised his head to see the green and blue Deadly Nadder perched on the rocks above him. His tail slowly swished back and forward, occasionally sweeping through the water then back up onto the rocks as he wondered why Angel had followed him to his fishing spot. Well, no that he thought about it, Spinx really didn't want to know anyway.

"Hi there buddy..." Mya said approaching the Fury closer. "I'm not gonna hurt you... You know, you and Angel would make good friends..."

"So..." Angel jumped down off a rock. "What's your problem with me? I'm a lesser you say? What if I called you a lesser? Wouldn't like that would you?" Angela's defense was always to make the other dragon annoyed - they tell you everything just to get you to leave.

Atlas' ear flaps twitched at the mention of Angel's name. He looked back at Mya. She knew Angel...?

"It wouldn't do anything," Spinx said gruffly. The Nightfury stood up to his full height on four legs, trying to intimidate Angel. "Nightfury are the only higher and more noble species of dragon," he explained, eyes narrowing. "Nadders, Zipplebacks, and anything other than my species isn't as powerful, noble or..." Spinx cut himself off. "It's not worth explaining to you."

Mya reached out her hand and finally touched Atlas on the nose. "That's right, I'm not gonna hurt you..." Mya slowly tried to get on the red night fury's back.

"Fine. If you're gonna be that way..." Angel lifted her foot and kicked mud into Spinx's face. She flew off not in fear, but in pride.

Now, Atlas liked and trusted humans a little bit, but he was no pushover; there was no way Ma was getting on his back. The red dragon snorted, head lowered, and caused some dirt to blow up into the air. He extended his wing, knocking Mya off of him and moved back a few feet. Atlas' pale yellow-green eyes watched Mya with just a little bit of distrust. She just met me, he thought, and she's already trying to get too friendly.

Spinx let out a startled cry as the slick mud stung his good eye. The Nightfury shook his head to try and dislodge the wet earth from his face, and, once he succeeded, the blue dragon looked up to see Angel flying off. His bloodshot eye narrowed and Spinx leapt up into the sky, extending his wings to catch a gust of sea wind, and shot though the air. He was almost right behind Angel in just a few minutes.

Emberfang arrived at the same shore Spinx and Angel were on not too long ago, only he flew in from the sea; he had taken the long route, flying from his nest in Berk and around the island of Cobblestone to land on the coast. Once he was settled on a large rock, Emberfang lifted his head to see a large blue Nightfury flying through the air. The Heatface ignored the other dragon and started to fish in the cool sea waters.

(HI! )

Angel could see Spinx getting closer and closer to her. She needed to teach this dragon a lesson on the "Lesser Species" and get away in one piece. She flew as high as she could straight up into the sky.

"Whoa whoa, it's okay big guy." Suddenly, she got an idea. She ran to the village, and a few minutes later she returned with two people about her age. It was Hiccup and Astrid. "Whoa, another Night Fury!?" Hiccup said surprised. "Another?" Questioned Mya suspiciously. "I just mean, because of Toothless, and well...." He trailed off hoping Mya would forget the whole subject. "Forget it," Said Mya. "but since Ang- I mean Toothless is the only Night Fury, I think we should bring this big guy into the village."

(Aloha )

Spinx almost followed Angel's lead, but it kicked into his mind that going too far into the air would result in causing his breathing to get shallower and he would eventually have to slow back down and loose Angel's trail. Or the lesser species would be leading him into a trap...
The larger blue dragon slowed the beating of his wings. He snorted and shot a fireball at the receding figure in the sky. Without waiting around to see if the orange ball of flames hit its target or not, Spinx somersaulted in midair and headed back to the shore.

An audible groan escaped Atlas' throat as the trio of humans neared. 'Why didn't I leave?' the red Nightfury asked himself. That was so foolish of him, just sitting around after Mya left, stuck in a clearing in well-known woods to the two-leggers...Atlas mentally slapped himself. As he sat there, halfheartedly listening to the villagers chat amongst themselves, Atlas' ear flaps shot up when he heard Mya say,"bring this big guy into the village." Oh, no, no, no, no! Atlas was not going to be some pet dragon for some Vikings!

Angel was going higher and higher trying to get Spinx to follow, when she heard loud booming noise. She turned her head and saw an orange fireball coming towards her, but before she could move, the fireball hit her right wing sending her crashing towards the ground.

"Let's use this rope to help him back to the village." Said Mya. "C'mon, tie it around him." Mya, Hiccup and Astrid took a rope and began to tie it around the moving Night Fury's tail. "He sure is moving a lot." Observed Mya. Hiccup realized that the dragon looked frighted. "Guys, maybe we should stop. He looks scared."

A low growl escaped Atlas' throat. The Nightfury's brow furrowed and he lifted his lips to show off his now extended teeth. Atlas refused to be handled by these humans! With a sudden, mighty leap, the Nightfury was in the air, wings unfullured and in a split second, he was zooming through the air.

Emberfang had caught his sixth fish and was gulping it down when he heard a stedy beat of giant wings. After swallowing the scaly tail, the Heatface turned around with heavily lidded eyes to see a huge, blue, and very angry looking Nightfury flying toward him at a very high speed. Automatically, instincts kicked in and the smaller red reptile hopped into the air and zoomed right over the decending Nightfury just as the creature snapped at him. The Heatface let out a low chuckle and continued to fly through the skies.

Spinx landed, hind legs first, onto the rock he was fishing from moments before Angle had disturbed him. The large dragon sat down on his hunches and stared intensly at the clear water with his good eye.

As Atlas took off and flew away, Hiccup let out a groan. "I told you guys we should be careful!". Mya flung her arms up in the air as if to act like it wasn't her fault. "I didn't do anything!"
"SHUT UP!" Astrid yelled. "It was no one's fault. Lets just forget this even happened; I mean, he obviously doesn't want to be captured by us anyhow being as he acted!"

Angel tried to flap her wings, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't keep herself in the air longer then a couple of seconds. She hit the ground hard, injuring her other wing in the process. She muttered curses and took many god's names in vain under her breath. "Stupid Night Fury." She began talking to herself. "You know, maybe I'm the 'higher species', and he's the 'lesser species'..."
